The storm and the bat spell are ridiculously over powerfull. A solo scorcerer can greif an intire server with this combo. It cost nothing and you can do it over and over again.

There are some counters to it.
If you see stacked foundations under LS, it will appear OP.
Thats the point! Finally big clan have to think twice before harassing a solo player. Because now also a solo player can be pain in ass

There’s a difference between solo players who do the grind, make an impressive base, etc. on their own and griefers who do nothing but level their magic and then go around offline nuking others’ bases. LS rewards the latter more than the former, because the former are still way more vulnerable to losing everything they built than they were before sorcery. Griefers have nothing to lose, all they care about is ruining everyone else’s game.
Under these conditions the only PvP servers I have any interest in playing on are moderated RP ones where you can’t just run around offline trashing bases at random.

Please show me stacked foundations that appear op. Tbh it changes nothing as the lighting storm is still way to cheap and strong. What’s the point of trebs , arrows and bombs? Why would they make something so strong that even gods will be overlooked? Why make it so the only viable bases are cave bases? Why promote people sitting in their base all raid time? I don’t believe they wanted to eliminate so many fundamental aspects of this game for another one shot mechanic and it screams Poor gameplay 100%
To those who say it helps solos well they should have made solo and small clan servers years ago.

not only ls + bat, problem also with slow fall, and ice bridge, all game balance is now broke totally, i see all players quitting the game, because honestly what the point to play if only option is to be naked, storm everything and live with some chests only, very interesting gameplay…and only viable option actually

The issue is all the people in this forum who think FC can’t do anything wrong and most of them don’t even play pvp. Pvpers should all be on the same page because the game is going in a bad direction. Don’t get me wrong they’ve made some good changes but part of me thinks this is them not being able to handle the tos well so they just give out a free raiding mechanic to everyone

game is simply dying now abd i still do not understand how they had released a so broken sorcery.
and i saw feedback of people during test live, but it was released in this state even if totally ruining the balance of the game.
i mean serioulsy it is so bugged that with a bat i can even go higher that the limit height of the world, 2 or 3 light storm that cost 5 mn of farming can wipe a base that took 20hours to build. zombie overpowered in regards of normal thralls…
simply play the game on offcial, no need to argue

the only counter to it is to have someone sit at your base witch dosent make any sense.
@Hiorty I’m on a busy (extremely laggy) server right now. 3 big clans but everyone is afraid to leave their base to fight. It’s just dumb
It dosent change anything, solos will suffer of storm spell from big clan aswell. A big group can have someone sitting at their base ready to counter spell while others clan mates are defending. A solo will be stuck countering spell with corrupted health bar while ennemies are bombing his base.
oh i bet. if you left your base on raid time you might getting wiped in few minutes lol. Its the most game breaking and unbalanced features that funcom ever released.
comes play on official pvp you will see real number, and not the 50 id bought for few cents of the same guy that use if for body vault daily.

There’s A LOT more than one counter to lightning and a lot more than one counter to bat flight. And most of them do NOT depend on base sitting - WTF? Some people’s ability to think is astoundingly limited here. For example Lightning Storm only has a radius of about 6 or 7 blocks. And you only get about 4 or 5 strikes out of it. Now gee wiz willikers, how would one stop someone from standing in one place 2 or 3 blocks from your important structure (so that it might affect 3 or 4 blocks of the target structure), and spam things - anything? It’s like none of you have ever played Conan before, my goodness!
And bat flight, not only are there other spells to limit it’s potential usefulness but a single arrow will knock you down. If you’re over 2 blocks high you ARE going to lose health and unless you’re set up for full corruption in the first place just using the spell reduces your health. I wanna see someone land in my pvp base after falling from 6 or 7 blocks high and then survive for more than ten seconds. Haaahaaa! Nope!
Of course all that said it would be better still if officials disallowed offline raiding.

Again this promotes people to sit in base all raid time. If you cared about how pvp works you would agree we should be promoting the opposite.
Are you assuming youre flying to the highest pillar in the game? It’s not to hard to drop down and grab a wall in most cases. Also if it’s before raid time you’ll have zero problem.
Stick to your threads asking the devs to ingnore everyone who has a problem with the imbalance that’s been created.
