When I log off in a safe location and log back into the game, I am at my bed (not where I logged off) naked with everything in my inventory gone, and no death indicator on the map. Had happened several times to everyone in my server. Getting really sick of having to redraft armor tools weapons food potions and materials alnost everytime I log on.
it sucks and it happens, usually related to dying from temperature as the armour and vitality perk don’t work when you log off. The work around is to put everything in a chest when you log out.
I had this same issue because i was wearing zamorian armour in the jungle base i made. I switch my armour to fibre clothes before i log and haven’t had the problem since.
Question:
Are you logging off using menu option of the game, reading the “disconnecting from the game” message ?
or
Are you going off the game by using the PS button to go to your PS4 home then close the game from there ?
I am asking this because, I once used the PS4 home button closing the game from there, and next time I logged in I was naked in the desert, clearly died somehow, with no inventory.
This happens because when you NOT using the ingame menu to log off (and you read the >disconnecting from the game< message), but the ps4 home button & close game option instead, the game still register you as ingame, even if you close it, therefore you either will die of starvation, dehydration, or elemental damage, etc.
long story short > always log out using the ingame menu and be sure you are reading the disconnection message until you are back to the game menu.
(this is what happens to 99% of people complaining about returning into the game with no inventory)
