Lootchests be user based instead of how it is now

You picture the moment, opening a loot chest around in camps, caves or dungeon and you’re greeted by an empty UI. Someone else already took the loot.

I would like to suggest to make it player-time based, so for example a player can loot a chest in camps every 1 hour, caves 2 hours, dungeons 3 hours. So a player could also maximize the experience in his playtime and not having to wait unkown time or a game restart.

Is the bug where an improperly closed box or chest will never respawn its loot (until server restart) fixed? My experiences lately suggests no, but it’s possible I’m seeing ghosts. If not, I’d fix that first.

This game seems to have very little in terms of instancing (the technical term, not “going to a dungeon”, compared to games like WoW anyway), which may be why there’s not much in terms of person-locked content.

I think it is. Because usually in an hour I see the loot respawning, but you don’t know when the person before you have looted so you either wait or move on. I’ve seen loot respawning in my face this week, best moment ever right there.
