Lost Dungeon set

If that were the case, they’d be open to saying they will escalate the matter about a potential refund. They were referring to escalating the complaint about the images being misleading. Those are two different things. One is trying to actually help, the other is “oops, you’re right. Let’s tell our dev team about this, but you’re still getting f*** all for it.”

I bought it. And i kinda wished i didn’t. Because i can’t find a damn use for it.

same, i cant use it at all. if they added actual walls/doors/frames/ceilings, id be cool with it but this?? as it is?? its useless.

Wouldn’t be so bad with walls and regular ceiling. But it’s literally all foundation.

Incomplete, pieces lack logic, if i’d known i would have never paid such a price for it. The prices are ridiculous to begin with, the older DLC sets cost the same and you got full functional build sets, armor, weapons, decorative pieces, skins and whatnot. This is why i don’t usually go for the bazaar stuff but i was temporarily weak and fell for it, i guess. Not gonna happen again.

maybe this is 1st part of the set?
but again -in that case price is OFF even more

The latest update in this whole report to get my Crom coins back…

—-

“We completely understand your point, which is why we take the feedback to our dedicated team for them to analyze it accordingly.
In any case, we cannot provide a refund of your Crom Coins given the reasons you’ve stated.

However, if you wish to have a refund of your real money, you will have to reach out to the store from where you’ve made the purchase, in your case PlayStation store:

We hope you understand.
Continuation of a pleasant week!”

Sony unlikely would refund, so I’m not even wasting my time with this. It’s clearly a massive failure to provide proper customer service on Funcom’s part. Pathetic. I suspect refunding Crom coins wasn’t even accounted for as an option for Funcom and therefore they don’t even know how to do it, even if they wanted to.

Wait…wha? Ok so they don’t accept providing a refund of their fake money but suggest you actively work to refund the purchase of crom coin which is real money refund they would be out…in lieu of just deactivating the access to allow you to make another selection. Wow.

That is not this one’s experience.
Just don’t expect it to be quick.
Have all your complaints in a row, and include any concerns about how the game is performing in the platform. Keep screenshots of the advertisement. Send pictures of the shop that PC has vs what is on PSN.

Sony has always been thorough, slow, but reasonable when taking care of this one.

The important thing is to initiate the refund request as soon as possible.
They used to have an unspoken 14 day no question refund policy.

As for what the customer support at Funcom said, they may have been given a no refunds mandate from above. That they are actively directing you to a way to get your real money back is about the strongest support for your position a person in their likely job role can do.

This one has had a job like this before, it sucks, and often it is about just telling the customer sucks to be you.

This is the purpose of creating a shady fake currency in the first place.

On paper, you’re not technically purchasing a misleading pile of foundations with your money. You’re buying a fake currency with your money. A currency that’s under funcom’s complete control.

If you ask for a refund, your crom coin total will likely go into the negatives because you’ve used some of them to buy stuff. This, as we’ve seen in the past will cause funcom to lock your account until you’ve settled the difference. Basically forcing you to repay it if you want to play their game.

It sucks, it’s bullshit, but thems the hoops they’re jumping through to ensure they don’t lose profits.

If only the hoop of having robust representation of the product in the Bazaar, before purchase, were the hoop chosen instead. Then they would not have to imperil long term profit (by being Ferengi wannabes to their payer base) to preserve short term ones.

I’m not surprised. Stuff “bought” with this funny money isn’t really bought. No real business transaction between Funcom and the customer takes place, because it all happens in the game. Legally, spending Crom coins in the game store is no different than using fictional in-game money in any other video game, say, buying a burger with Eurobucks in Cyberpunk 2077. It’s the point where we buy Crom Coins with actual money that is a business transaction, and protected by consumer rights.

And how many games got around the credit card gambling ban. You use your CC to buy in game coins that can be used to shop in game OR gamble with.

Seriously? You can’t figure out that you have to place four pieces down and align them? It makes an awesome looking portal for my dungeon.

My dungeon is hidden inside a nemedian building. You build the outside walls and then you place the dungeon walls inside. It doubles the HP of you walls.

The set works fine you just have to learn how to account for their space usage. I just hope they add door frames that turn or even dungeon traps or something. Actually, it would be great if they added more types of defensive traps to the game anyway. We don’t have enough ways to defend but nearly unlimited ways to assault.

I think you’re missing the point. If you want curved walls and a doorway, like a small chamber, no, it doesn’t work. It will split the grate in half with no way to expand it. Any time Funcom releases these skylight type pieces, they’re always constrained to a circle, which make them somewhat difficult to work with. In the case of the dungeon set, it’s significantly more so. Regardless, it’s an overall failure of a set that’s pretty much gone over like a lead balloon for those players that were tricked into buying it through false advertisement.

I’m so disappointed… I love the look and texture but o feel it’s incomplete and won’t be using it. I’d sooner stick with Arena.

Funcom stop giving partial build sets out. It’s very telling how much you want our money. And I’m ok giving but give us complete sets.

I’ve been telling people don’t buy this. It’s virtually useless. Cubes? Really?

Funcom is horrible for updates but now they are really poor at complete building sets.

Shame. Really quite shameful.

You could try to mix both. I don’t own the lost Dungeon set but from the picture I think it could go well with the Arena set. Wich set doesn’t really miw that well with any other set, even the Nemedian, except for its sable covered foundations that could look great with the straw covered foundations of the Stable set.

I’ll try some more. I did try and wasn’t pleased. It felt mismatched tbh.

Eradication was doing some work on it and while I love his work it didn’t grab me. Albeit some things were well done. I’ll watch for other too. May take a community of ideas to be able to use this limited set.

I do love the design I thinks perfect. But I’m tired tired of the lack of pieces or incomplete it seems. I really just want my money back at this point but I know it’s too late.

I’ll be very careful and wait for streamers to post designs before consider to buying sets like this again.

The problem may lie in the fact that if you have these pieces built in game still. How would they give back the Crom Coins, reverse your ownership and remove those pieces? So what they are saying is get your real money value back so that the ingame purchase is still valid and won’t have to delete any built pieces or reverse ownership.

I think you all need to go back to the top of this thread because you have forgotten what the point was.
