Hell, you and I both played EA. In effect, we paid them for the honor of being beta testers. They can still do that by having a testing branch where this stuff gets tested, whether by us or their people, before launching the live patch.
But, uh… They don’t do that 'round here. My niece’s sixth grade programming class can do that, but not this studio full of professionals.
