Make all meat piles/carcasses a resource please

Not necessarily a good one though. Have it drop low quality meat (Feral mostly, a chance at savoury), bones and a bit of putrid meat. Specific animals like the dead Rhino in G-7 could give half of the animals actualy drops.

My reasoning here is twofold;

  • A chance to be a scavenger and steal from carnivors
  • and so that building beside them will get rid of damn things

These meat piles & carcasses typically have animals around them which stop spawning but these nasty things don’t. Often I’ve gotta build overtop of them to “get rid” of them.

Not a bad idea and not hard either. Now that you mention it, I’ll start turning them into putrid meat nodes on my maps when I use them.

Just like you did with whales on the IoM?
I saw a whale carcass and I usually smack dead stuff, even if they are decorations. Well, that one wasn’t.
I have a crap ton of meat, oil and ichor now :rofl: .

They have those carcasses underneath so I could convert those to savory or something.

Instead of trying to hide the one by my base, I just made it part of the decor. :slight_smile:

Which is perfectly possible yes. What if it doesnt fit into someones build though? Thats often my case.

In addition to making it a resource, I’ve always wanted to see decorative rocks, trees etc. like the ones we harvest. Best of both worlds.
