I placed my maproom in an area outside of my home and the maproom disappeared within 24 hours of me placing it and the environment is acting like it was never even there to begin with is there anyway I can get my maproom back

did you just place it on the ground? maybe it has decayed? you are not giving us much information to work with but check the event log, there should be an entry for it.
I agree with @Narelle it likely decayed as they have a very short timer when not placed on foundations.
Without foundations, your maproom just decayed.
Check your log, it’ll tell you what happened.
Sorry about your luck on it, especially with how many resources it takes.
Next time put it on foundations.
Thank you all for that information I think that is what it did but should it have decayed in 24 hours
Always place your maproom on foundations and check the decay timer with a repair hammer…
