It’s hard to get everyone to agree on this. :blush: As I said I will wait for more mod users feedback about this point.

archers in conan are already limited. arrows weigh them down as it is, unless yer encumberance specced. yer only carrying a few stacks.

As for balance, folks are forgetting that while the bow has the advantage of range, it’s fairly hard to hit a moving target as it is. It’s not the mods or the developers fault for those of you charging in a straight line at your archer opponent. It’s actually quite easy as it is to close the gap as a melee, and once yer locked on yer target, that usually spells doom for the bow user.

what you could do to fix the melee vs bow combat is to cause damage to the bow for every hit that lands from the melee opponent. 1 hit = 25% of the bows health depleted.

  • Exceptional and Flawless Reptile armor now have +7 and +9 attribute bonus instead of +5
  • Relic hunter armors now have the right attribute bonus (Enc + Agi)
  • Exceptional and Flawless Lemurian warrior armor now have +7 and +9 attribute bonus instead of +5

Would stat balancing recipe weapons you discover be possible too like the dafari weapons you discover near the cursed city?

Are you talking about the Darfari weapons that we learn next to the Ritualist? I rebalanced the weapons from the hardened steel, I did not touch the weapons of lower level. The low level balancing seems to me correct, what is wrong with Darfari weapons?

Recipes/Feat

  • Conan now can teach you Barbarian Armor Feat :

It’s a medium armor equivalent to the Kambujan Shaman armor stat, +5 STR bonus, but protects from heat. Epic version is equivalent to Exceptional Kambujan Shaman armor Stat, +9 STR bonus, but protects from heat.

just sad there is no version of this one in light and heavy, there must be a reason why i guess though.

Yep I’m working on 3d skeleton meshes actualy. Donc worry, I planned to create light and heavy armor too ! :blush:

Well maybe you can try making a starmetal javelin as i sometimes use javelins for practice and fighting and plan on giving my fighter one so they have a range attack as i wonder why there isn’t a starmetal javelin in the game.

I think this can be done.

They are the literal worst of all weapons and tools, worth even less than the stone crafted tools despite having actual features and characteristics.

Ok, I checked the damage and you’re right these weapons are useless. I’m going to increase them a bit, but bone / stone weapons will not be as powerful as iron weapons.

Alex, can you adjust the javelins to stack up to 3 or 5 a stack? the throwing axes the same? Anything more than 5 i think would be unrealistic. Thoughts?

I can do that, 5 seems like a good idea.

also Alex, im not sure where you’re thoughts are on the armor stats and resistances. In their current form, there are armors that are best for pvp and not so great for pvp. This means we wont see certain armors worn at all due to their unoptimal stats. Firespark created a video suggestion about armors that I think is the best option to help increase the variety of armors worn. Here is his video
