(mod) Maproom system on Isle of Siptah

Hey all

Made a small mod the other day, mainly as a proof of concept. (wanted to put something on the Siptah map :stuck_out_tongue: )

It adds a maproom system to Siptah.
Ofc I couldn’t reuse the maproom placeable from EL as it has an actual 3D model of the Exiled Lands map which would’ve looked weird on Siptah, so instead, I made my own in a more compact sign-post format.

And since on most public servers people end up building a public maproom near every obelisk, I decided to just pre-place one at each obelisk as part of the map. Because of this, I didn’t even add recipes to craft them, cuz I think it’s enough to have one per obelisk :man_shrugging:

Anyway, here’s a quick demo

And here’s the link to the mod in case someone wants to try it:

Neat! I would still have it on the floor and a bit larger (like 4 X 8 foundations). Use the elder vaults as the locations and do the map rectangle plate in that style but that is really nicely done.

Awesome. Really well done. It’s a shame we can use it on console. It should be added to the base game, IMO.

It looks REALLY good @Xevyr! :grinning: Hopefully the signs you placed are indestructible, otherwise if there was a fight near by (or god forbid, someone wanted to grief the server), they would be easy to destroy.

You do great work, keep it up! :metal:

Yea they are static objects part of the map, would be the same as hitting the obelisks

Very nice indeed. I’d bet that’s gonna be very popular.

I had planned at one time to make an EL maproom on Siptah with a transfered character and label each pedestal with signs. New Luxur, The Tower, Fractured Citadel, etc, just to make people wonder. But sadly never got around to it.
