Multiple Armor Temperature Resistance's Bugged

Game mode: Online official | Online private | Single-player | Co-op
Type of issue: Bug
Server type: PvE-Conflict | PvE
Region: Eastern United States
Mods?: No
Edition: Steam

Bug Description:

Various Armors have incorrect Temperature Resistance values applied to them. Checked in Online and Single-Player to varify and quantify the Resistance values.

Here is a list of Armors and the fault with their Resistances.
1.) Non-Epic Vanir Fur - Each armor piece adds +1 to Cold Resist and +2 to Heat Resist, according to Wiki these two Resistance values should be swapped.
2.) Non-Epic Vanir Settler - Each armor piece adds +1 to Cold Resist and +2 to Heat Resist, according to Wiki these two Resistance values should be swapped.
3.) Cimmerian Fur - It’s Heat/Cold Resistance is half of what it should be as an Epic Armor. Instead it’s resistance is the same as Basic Kambujan or Basic Vanir Heavy with +1 Heat / +2 Cold.
4.) Cimmerian Steel - It’s Heat/Cold Resistance is half of what it should be as an Epic Armor. Instead it’s resistance is the same as Basic Kambujan or Basic Vanir Heavy with +1 Heat / +2 Cold.

Steps to Reproduce:

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. Please be as detailed as possible; the more details, the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

1.) Easiest to produce in Admin Mode. Reset all your attributes and take off all your gear.
1.) Craft or spawn in 1 piece of each armor set in both Basic and Epic versions.
2.) Put on 1 of the armor pieces & check your STAT’s page. Each armor piece should show as 1 Cold Bar equaling a value range of 1 → 4.
3.) Add points into Survival until a Second Cold Bar is shown on the STAT’s page.
4.) Calculate the armor piece’s Resistance Value with the math formula = 5 - (Survival / 2).

from the wiki: a full set provides +10 heat and +5 cold resistance => +2 heat and +1 cold per item

same as above: +10 heat and +5 cold resistance => +2 heat and +1 cold per item

i’m not sure where you found the contrary information on the wiki

Okay, I admit my reading mistake there. I was on the Temperature Resistance Page verifying values and read under Cold Resistance 2 it said Vanir, but it was talking about Vanir Heavy.

Regardless I think the values are wrong for these two armors since they provide reverse temperature values from the Heavy variation and also their Epic variants. Just goes to show you how long they have been reversed if the Wiki is reporting it that way.

there is no rule that says that sets with the word “vanir” in the name must all have the same resistants values. they are separate sets in the respective armor class and quality. identical values would be more logical, but they are not mandatory

by the way, logic and temperature resistance have never been good friends. fur-covered armor that protects better from heat than from cold and a breath of nothing that keeps you warm in the deepest winter
