I placed my horse on guard. Logged out. Logged back in today and he is buried under the ground. Still guarding but only his head is visible and I can’t access it. I worked hard for this horse and only had him for one day. Please tell me I can fix this? I’m very bummed.

Same here, I’ve had my horse in the same spot for the last couple of weeks and only sometime in the last few days has it fallen under the foundations where I can’t access it, removing foundations to try and find its exact location would destroy a decent chunk of my base too

One more reason to always have a backup. It’s not ideal, but at least you’ll still have transportation if something like this happens.
Yeah good call, only problem is that particular horse has my good armor/tools in its inventory too x_x

@Tazfrog3, did you try the rescue option yet? You will lose anything in it’s inventory, but it sounds like you may have lost that even if you don’t try it. You can access the rescue option from the follower tab on your inventory screen. GL, happy hunting!

Is this on an official server or private? Or are you playing offline? It’s it’s official…yeah. You’re screwed. Sorry. On a private server, ask the admin if s/he will use their admin powers to retrieve the thing. (It’s possible.) Solo/offline? Go into admin mode yourself, use Ghost mode to duck beneath the ground yourself and retrieve it.

Thanks, I was able to figure out the general spot the horse was in and was able to retrieve it with only a few foundations broken luckily
