Names in event logs

I have only seen the Xbox servers max out at 40 at launch. The servers sit around 2 players to 15 at most.

I don’t see an issue with clans overpopulating a server.

It is more of a strategy to raid, in some cases clans may be waiting for a certain day for everyone to be on to hit another clan.

Grinding out the resources ahead of time helps out, but putting a decay timer on the more end game resources would kill the game.

not really. My clan can have 1000 bombs easily in 24 hours.

Brimstone doesn’t decay, and i would not want it too. Steel fire doesn’t decay, and i would not want it to. If you can’t craft 1000 bombs from steel firs, demon blood and crystal in 24 hour cycle, then your alpha has holes in it. But that would require the whole clan be involved over that 24 hours as well, and not just want to come in and event log check. My clan has been able to many a time wipe an alphas base after only 7 days on the server. And none of us had to no life it. 4 hours a day each is all it really took. And we didn’t have to use a stash of 6 months of vaulted bombs. I am just suggesting if someone has massive land claim they should be playing on the server. If not, they should not have a way to wipe anyone trying to actually play the game consistently.

Sadly not everyone is like your clan, and this mechanic would only punish the smaller tribes

How???
Smaller clans tend to not go for all out wipes. They tend target small operations bases, to blow in, steal, and get out. 100 bombs is more than enough for that. Big clans are the only ones who tend to constantly grind and stash explosives until they either get bored, or feel disrespected.

I know, i have done that before. Jsut grinding for grinding sakes, and next thing we knew we had a couple thousand bombs and a chest of Jhebals. No one would attack us. anWe literally wiped a super farming clans main base 6 times after they hit one of our bases… but they no lifed to build back up. Then we just quit. Actually had the stash for 3 months hidden, and decided to finally de-spawn it all and move on to more fun ways to play.

The ones I have spoken to, both big and small all said they hated it when no names were shown.

I absolutely hated it when the logs where anonymous. If you want to raid someone then just raid them but bear the consequences. In real life if you have so many helpers/thralls/followers around your base and then if someone attacks your base one of your followers will eventually just run away directly to alarm the rest and report to you. Also, animals in real life can track down people and other animals. Also, humans can track down other humans. So if you have so many followers and pets (as most people in Conan probably do) you should be caught almost like 10 out of 10 times.)

This reality cannot be replicated in Conan and for that we have the log. Making it anonymous is just simply not logical in my point of view. If you really want to have anonymous log go make a mod and start your own server… don’t go put this nonsense into official servers …

ironic this statement comes for @Anonymous1 isn’t it?

This assumption that anonymity or an entirely removed log would backfire at smaller clans is just wrong. People who played since day 1 will know this and you could already observe the positive effects on the PvP balance on officials while the names were gone.

I would want log and playerlist to be gone entirely, I understand the anonymous log as a compromise already.

Literally the most fun i had on the game as a vet. Not knowing who were hitting you. Plus not knowing whose base was whose. The server was a constant doorless mess during raid time (in a good way.). everyone blowing in trying to tag bodies of people they caught red handed raiding the day before. IT was so great. But alas, the Base Refreshing-Part Timers win again.

Yes it starts with fish then once they build up they still your star metal stealing is stealing if they can they will… defenses or not bombs can take stuff out with avatars in case anyone wants to say secure your stuff. And when I’m going to collect my FISH for inchor and they have all been robbed now I have to wait you bet I’m going to get it back. Time is the most precious thing in a survival game.

Yeah… The most thrilling time of CE was with no log, no playerlist and no raidtimer. You were never safe of your belongings. You could come home to see someone smashing your base…
But back then you couldn’t climb yet and steel could tackle sandstone and benches.

It makes it easier to mark a map of other players bases if you know who is built there. It helps the mapping portion, and I’d rather not blow into a door to see who lives there.

Blow a door = built on the ground = not a serious base…

It’s a PvP game, and ofc suboptimal builds are easier raid targets. One of the biggest nuisances that alphas don’t care because of the log and spam the map with wheel huts and vaults. This is preventing the gamebalance from running its course.

Casual players will learn not to build in that way again when they get raided. Imo totally the wrong approach to complain about easy targets getting raided.
