I think and have heard of many people who would like to see a decrease in the despawn radious structures cause on natural resources. All vegeration and rocks despawn in a really large distance from your house and thats totally unecessary and not wanted by most players.
The despawn range reaches all way above and below in a huge cylinder, building in the edge of a cliff shouldnt despawn all resources at base if you are high enough, it shouldnt be treated like land claim!
