The amount of materials you get from these new Supply Material Boxes is insane so something needs nerfing here. Either the way you get blood crystals needs to be harder or the boxes need to give less.
No one is going to be making steal bars if you can farm these boxes for 30mins and get thousands.
Let me see if I understood you correctly.
As YOU don’t like these mechanics, EVERYONE should be denied the right to enjoy them. The reason? I don’t like that resources can be obtained that way, so NOBODY should be able to get them like that.
Now tell me, what businesses is that of yours if other people prefer trading coin for resources instead of mining them? How does that impact YOUR game?
Anyway, the caravans around the map will be gone in the next age. I hope you’re happy.
People should pay a freaking fine each time they use the word nerf.
You’re just trying to argue for the sake of it mate. Your point makes no sense. I’m saying its to OP to get thousands of steel bars in 20 mins of farming. If you think that’s balanced fair enough. I don’t think that and I think I have aright to my own opinion? Cheers
Don’t tell me… they removed your picks ftom the game!
No? Then you can mine all you want until your heart’s content.
What is it to you how people chose to get their resources? Some people don’t like fighting, so they go the traditional way. Others prefer to fight and buy resources.
One trip to God’s claw passage with half baked tools, a bearer III and the right build and you have enough iron for the entire game.
Anyway, caravans are gone, so you don’t need to worry about how OP buying resources is.
I use the boom boom boom mass gather and can fill a bearer in a very short time.
We understood this issue and complained about it; or I did, while the age of sorcery was on test. It was my opinion at the time the entire head hunter thing through game level/materials balance out the window. made boss fights for keys a waste of time. And did not miss having to fight crows folk for good tools.
But most all that goes bye bye in chapter 2. Well 90% of it.
Not sure how you get them, but ran paste a big bloodcrystal farm the other day 8 T3 animal trainers full of blood crystal rocknoses.
I would say boring is only having one way to do things, but each to his own.
I assume you would be against a human trading system then. 'Cause people could even buy more iron instead of farming it! They could even trade, imagine, bricks for legendaries! Oh, the blasphemy!
It doesn’t mean everyone agrees with you.
I actually liked the system and I’m sorry to see it gone. It’s a tottal drag having to farm blood tools and deppend on rng, fhs, especially when you did it dozens of times. Same goes for those very useful t4s. They weren’t the top of their class, but were very welcome early game.
What fun would that be We’d never learn anything.
None the less how do you think the players will react to having this big toy taken away?
I wasn’t the only one that thought it absurd for, say a 10th level with daggers spends a short time wiping out darfari villages to walk away with a T4 fighter in tow, and both with legendary weapons. And maybe even gain a level.
Yes some one will assuredly come on and post you could always do that with world bosses and I’ll say You might be able to, but I did that with absurd ease. Took a fifth the effort and came out 3X better.
Bah, it doesn’t bother me all that much.
It was cool while it lasted.
It was a fast way to get yourself set up.
They could have made things a bit more expensive though. It was a bit on the easy side, that I admit.
But it was very useful for someone who did all that many times. You could get the best tools, some mats and very useful thralls in a few days. The best thing were crafters.
The thing is, it was all OPTIONAL. Nobody was FORCED to use this system. Why should we impose our playstyle to others? I’m always in favor of having more options, more routes, more choices. Then I choose what I prefer and don’t mind other people’s choices. That’s their business.
Poor little Bobby, well not so little now, but not mom’s fault for leaving the full cookie jar out. No one forced Bobby to eat all those cookies, so it’s not mom’s fault.
I’m sure I’m not the only one’s who’s immediate reaction was to start farming sorcerers. I’d like to think I was far from alone in this. Hell I’ve been farming for blackblood tools on live now, not the only one. Be done with the crow folk for a while.
None the less offer people an easy option and they will eat it up like chocolate. Saying “they had the option not to” is rather ludicrous. Maybe if mom hadn’t left the cookies out Bobby would look more like a kid and less like a beach ball.
{sorry, past my breakfast time, so ya a little hangry}
Sometimes you wouldn’t say, but this game is actually for adults. If 40 something Bobby can’t control his impulses to eat cookies, a game mechanic is the least of his problems…
On a more serious note, let me put it this way. I did both in the game.
As just farming sorcerers loses its fun fast, I farmed a few and also went the traditional route. Bb tools and crafters were welcome.
You know that analogy where there’s a diving board on a river with a warning stating" Don’t dive during the low tide" because waters are shallow and one might hurt his head on the bottom?
Stupid will ignore the warning. Well, there’s two ways to go about it. Either you remove the board because of the stupid and nobody else can have fun, or you leave the warning and let the stupid learn their lesson while everyone else has their fun.
I’m a defender of the second.
You are advocating for the first.
See where that leads us? We’re all treated as stupid.
