Ive spend several hours for the last 4 days trying to find a shieldwright and/or a bladesmith.
Why do players have to spend up to 10hrs of doing the same route over and over until they rage quit?Just to make competitive armor and weapons.
I have talked to a modder about this and she has noticed it too.
Fix it plz. Thank You.
Definitely noticed a steep decline in named blacksmiths and bladesmiths being a unicorn. Yet my one friend can find one no problem, horseshoe up their butt I guess.
Try running higher level purges if you can, the named T4s at the end do have blacksmiths.
I feel you! 2200h playtime…maybe have seen a hand full of blade smiths.
But there are even more absuredly rare thralls: Derketo and Zath T4 priests.
During my current playthrough with my old pvp character I can’t get a t4 alchemist or carpenter for the life of me.
I just recently rescued a T4 shieldwright, Hanar of Bosonia from one of the watchtowers that are dotted around the ridge that surrounds New Asgard, Ive also rescued 2 Delinsias from those cages in the last week or so. Check out those asgard cages, they seem to be giving good thrall loot, for me at least. im on an official server too. Finding a T4 tanner has been my Unicorn for the last few weeks.
Update: After 4 days of mutiple hours farming.
I have found a shieldwright and scoutwright.
5th day still looking for a bladesmith.
Sepermeru,Mounds of the dead and the volcano are all farmed during these runs.
I have now resorted to knocking out bar thralls in the hope getting a Bladesmith that way.
Its frustrating to say the least.
imagine this: When I did the last step of my Freya quest, there actually WAS a bladesmith at Nordhof…Freya killed him^^
Two words, Sinners Refuge. Bring gibitts a box and some gruel. You’ll find a good mix of potential “employees”. May take a minute but rinse and repeat
