Notifying Vets of a Fallen Soldier

I don’t know how many people still check the forums…
May main in AO is Noorb. I have not been active for a few years but I feel I need to let the AO community know we have lost a very longtime player, although he was not active recently.

My brother played AO basically since release with the occasional break like we all take.
his main in game characters were
Stopholise
Apostraphe
Stophswoman

He was in the org The Syndicate

He passed away at the age of 42 due to cardiac arrest in his home.

I just know that he would want those he played with to know. Although I feel none of them are currently playing AO or reading the fourms.

Thank you

Sorry for your loss. We are a relatively small community, so we all probably crossed paths with him in one way or another. Thanks for passing on the message and my sympathies for your and his family.

Hello Noorb, my friend. You’re mistaking… we’re still there, and there for you and your brother.

We know you well as you are and have been a long-time member of our Athen Paladins family, even if you haven’t played in years. Several members, back or never gone, remember you and also your brother.

Indeed we knew your brother quite well too, although he was not directly in AP, as he played with us, and sometimes logged some alts of yours.

Our condolences and all our sympathy go to you and your family for this tragic and so early loss. May your brother rest in peace; he will be with all the good friends we lost along the way in AP, and in AO.

I of course informed AP in our private section on our forums

You can come visit us; we’ll be happy to talk to you. Just PM me here if you need a new password or something for our forums.

And you know we’ll always be glad to see you anytime on RK, old friend.

Your friend, now and always,

Thank you so much for the kind words it means a lot .

AO was one of the best things I was able to experience and share with my brother.
He spent many years in the Navy and was usually stationed somewhere we could not see him regularly.

I am so happy to see Athen Paladins so alive when I log onto my Froob account to say hello.

again thank you !

We’ll always be there for you, my friend  Sorry I wasn’t there when you logged on your froob.

Come back to us some day!
