Officials do not get wiped

it ranges from 1600 for Siptah days to 2500 days for Exiled Lands that they are online…I think this means since last wipe.
So, your original characters might still be around, although some servers got shut down.

Raudl is correct ^

I agree that setting aside wiping servers could be beneficial. 4-6 months sounds amazing.

a wipe just postpones the problems the code has…after a month or two, the bad code will just give you the same problems.
I mean, I can see that on a PVP server the regular wipe clears the playing field, so it is competitive again, but a PVE server where the goal is to have a shiny base (for long) or even have heirlooms from years ago, it would only make players leave. I definitely would.

There’s 2 counter-arguments I’ve seen about this:

  1. Players have attachments to their gameplay; loot, characters, recipes, memories
  2. Blitz servers were empty and shut down

So, having separate servers that have a longer play time is the best course.

No one has to play on them if they don’t want to, so only those who agree to and prefer wiping, will enjoy these servers.

And, the Blitz servers were PVP and wiped monthly. Especially then that was not enough time for players to enjoy a playthrough. While arguably that could work now it may still not be enough time.

i will love if one 1 pve server and pvp server was wiped regualer 4-6 months to test it off, im a pve player and i dont want to go into a server their is lacking constant and their have being no wipe for years (just my opion) no one have to say every server but to begin with see how it goes test it off on 2 servers on each region,

no says its has to be every server their is but atleast just wipe 1 or 2 servers and let people start on a fresh server

Exactly.

this isn’t the case anyway…they work just fine…for the most part. :joy:
But as I said, server wipes do nothing for the problems the game has. The code is a nightmare and the devs are currently trying to improve it…we shall see.
You might play a month without issues and one day you fall through the ground every time you log into the game…for no apparent reason. Or your best worker thralls just vanish…
Or you are walking along somewhere and the game crashes…

all unrelated to server performance, or at least an issue that could not be resolved by wiping the server regularely.

yearh im agree with you on it.

a fesh server is still better than a years old no wiped server

Blitz servers were a joke and designed to not be popular. A monthly wipe? Really? All other options of wipes are decided by a single attempt to delve into it with such a laughable cycle timeframe.

really depends on your personal preference… I for one like when there are a few buildings around, especially map rooms near obelisks or teleporters.
For me it adds a little to an otherwise completely explored map. Also some inspiring buildings make it worth playing for me.

And as I said, all the game breaking issues also exist on brand spanking new servers. And the really good base spots are gone within a few days anyway.

i can 100% see what you mean,
they have so many officels servers just 1 or 2 could be spare 1 to pve and one to pvp just as a test and see how its gonna go with does 2 serves

imho what would have made a lot of sense was a wipe with each new Age… An Age lasted for about a year or more. That is reasonable for me and you can take with you things you got from that age into the next.
but a wipe just for the map, not the player characters, so you can take with you your priced possessions and knowledge at least.

yearh if they can make so your character is not gone ime 100% doit  1000% agree on that and just wipe the map instead so you still keep you character.

So me solving half the issues I was having simply by starting fresh games twice on an official server was just back to back flukes?

All of which could quite possibly be caused by YEARS OF HOARDING.
Right now the best running servers are the betas, no one is on and most builds decayed away while it was off line. Nice fresh servers run smoooooth.

The 7D2D private server I play on wipes every 500 game days. I’ve been asking for annual or biannual wipes for a while. I’m only playing now because i quit long enough for all my stuff to decay and stated a fresh game for the update.

Wrong.

A few would be nice, I can’t find a PVE server where builds aren’t practically on each other.

Follow the sublime story lines, you’ll end up exploring a lot of the map. I wish the map was like 7days, so I’d know what corners I have explored yet.

Name 3. I know I can, can you?

Really good base spots are a matter of taste. I rarely if ever find builds on my favorite spots.

I have a level capped character body volted on a server. Rather play a new character. Once I hit level cap, have unlocked all the knowledge, and done all the dungeons, it’s time to start a new game.

For me any game is about achieving goals, be it journey steps or trader jobs. It’s why I loved the battle pass. Gave me a reason to play when everything else was done.

yeah, you do you…not starting that debate again, just because you feel bored tonight.

Just asking: You still playing on the same old potato?
