it happens with old bows,
question, are those still agility weapons or due to power draw are all str?
this is kinda confusing lol
wiki says both are str weapons, but apparently only new ones pop with the right weapon type.

It’s whatever the label says on it
In this case those are Agility weapons.
The reason for it is that this stat actually gets saved into the database the moment the item is created… unlike some other stats, which only get saved when they get modified.
For example you probably know how you can keep the legacy damage of “soon-to-be nerfed” weapons by applying a damage kit… the reason that works is because the damage kit modifying the damage stat will cause the game to save it into the database as opposed to just getting the value from memory based on the definition of that item
The same thing is happening here essentially, it’s just one of those stats that automatically get saved upon the weapon spawning…
So basically TLDR: All weapons that were obtained prior to the update that switched them over to the other attribute, preserve their original attribute based damage bonus.
Is this on Siptah? If it’s on Siptah it makes sense, i still have old stats in many old weapons. On exile lands every old weapon is changed.
yes i know about the modified weapons, funny is that some of those are indeed, not modidied. nothing has changed any stats , yet they do have the previous stat.
Which is exactly what I said above would be the case…
If you obtained them BEFORE they were modified by Funcom, they retain their original stat based damage type, even without any modification.
