Passive skills to make each player unique

So far the player is a lesser t4 thrall. Each player level you unlock to passive points (temporary name for it) until level 40. After 40 you earn 1 passive point per level. Total of 100 passive points. Level 1 you start off with two passive points.

Each passive skill tree has 50 points in it. Meaning 1 passive tree fully unlocked is 50 points spent.

Every weapon has its own passive tree. Weapon passive trees focus on weapon damage,armor penetration and new moves unlock in the tree. Every point in a weapon tree decrease stamina consumption by 1% per point. Meaning if you max out one handed then all one handed weapons you used has reduced stamina consumption by 50%.

Witch Doctor tree focus on:

Increase your Orb damage
Increase your Orb status timer
Decrease damage taken by enemy orbs
Reduced status timer of enemy orbs
Increase your potions healing
Increase your potions timer
The ability to stack max potions effects on yourself (max is 3)
War paint is permanent until you remove it with the fluid.
Each point put into witch doctor decrease potions and orbs weight by 1% for potions and 2% for orbs. Max of 50% for potions and max of 100% for orbs.

Crafting: turns the player into a t4 crafting thrall. Players focus on this tree can make the best gear in the game without a t4 thrall. Each point in this tree reduced gear cost by 1% per point to a max of 50%. Also each point increase your crafting speed by 3% per point to a max of 150%.

Builder: players unlocks base defensives and ability to repair golems. A golem repair hammer made from stone can only heal a stone golem. Iron hammer can repair iron and stone. Star metal golem repair hammer can only fix tier 3. Each point in builder reduced cost of golem, building and defenses by 1% per point to a max up to

Sorcery: players going this tree gets new corruption spells. This tree first passive is dark heart increases your corruption. Dark heart auto corrupt the player. Each point in sorcery tree removes the debuff of being corrupted. Meaning you get access to all your health.

Advanced sorcery trees: requirement is 50 points in sorcery tree. Each advanced sorcery gains mana. Mana for these Sorcery is mana total equals five times level. Max 300 mana at 60. Advanced sorcery trees are immune to cold and heat effects.

Lich: you transformed into a Lich. Learns Necromancery spells. Bone armor is passive. Bone armor is points spent Lich x10 for unarmored armor. Has life drain that steals up up to 10% of damage as health recovery. Special trait is you don’t need to eat or drink.

Demonic: fire and soul magic spells are unlocked. Transformer you into a demon. Sorcery of demonic hurts players and not building. Passive: demonic soul increase max health and stamina by 1% per point in demonic. Max of 50%.

Avatar soul tree:unlocks light, medium,heavy, clothing and 1 of every weapon type for each religion. An Iron,steel,harden steel and star metal of each weapon type. Epic armor for light, medium and heavy.

Also the ability: to use religion base spells.

Crom has no tree.

Derketo: spells of life and death. Following this tree opens up team recovery spells and death spells. Death magic doesn’t work on lich or undead enemies. Each passive point increase your allies and your health Regen by . 02 per point within 10 feet of you.

Set: snake abilities and poison spells. For each point point you get plus one armor and get a shed skill that regenerate your own health by 1% max total per point (have to be naked and unarmed to use it)

Also this would put it more as an RPG style. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but to limit the abuse of it all I would say this has to be regulated with the idea that you can’t go back and reset. Your character’s path is set and if you want a new experience, restart the game. Now is that too drastic of a change for CE since we have been so used to restatting the same character to give use the build we need at the time? Probably.

Don’t feed the lich.

Lotus potions resets all. So passives could be reset.

Then no. It would be too easily abused and meaningless as you just do what you need and reset.

I actually think the idea of ​​a passive bonus system is good. In my opinion, you shouldn’t make your character stronger there. Wererat passive: turn into a wererat and gain wererat passive tree. Religion weapons do 1% more damage per corruption point. Wererat required max out sorcery tree. Wererat increase max health and stamina by by 1% per point in wererat passive. Wererat tree has wererat weapons ,wererats armors and wererats building pieces.

Understand wererats aren’t for those whom fear rats. Wererats are for players with teammates. Each rat is part of the pack. Wererats are immune to cold and hot temperatures. Wererats can harvest with their claws. 1-10 points in wererat equals stone tools 11-20 equals iron tools, 21-30 equals steel tools, 31-40 equals harden steel tools and 41-50 equals star metal tools.

Wererats comes in 6 types. Wererats have more health and stamina than regular humans. All were rats can eat spoiled meat. You can change your rat type at any time. Wererat unarmored is the value of base armor without armor on.

Light rats

Unarmored same armored value as full light armor set (max out wererat tree and it jumps to epic light armor)
+15% Movement and attack speed
Unarmed claws has 5% armor penetration. Damage is base on points spent in wererat x .5= max total of 25 damage with two claw fists.

Unarmed claws has 10% armor penetration. Damage is base on points in wererat x1= max total of 50 damage with two claw fist.
Can’t use sorcery.

Heavy Rats
+300 Health
+300 Carry weight
+300 Stamina
Unarmored same as armor value as heavy armor (max out wererat tree and it jumps to epic heavy armor)
+5% Movement and attack speed
Unarmed claws has 20% armor penetration. Damage is base on points in wererat tree x1.5= max of 75 damage with two claw fists.
Best guarding areas from other players.
Can’t use sorcery.

Rage Rat
+150 Health
+150 Carry weight
+150 Stamina
Unarmored equals same as medium rat.
+10% movement and attack speed.
Unarmed claws same as medium rat.
Can’t use sorcery. Best in 1vs 1.
Special Rat ability rage. Raging increase movement speed, attack speed and damage.

Sage Rats:
+150 Health
+150 Carry weight
+150 Stamina
Unarmored equals same as light rat.
+15% movement and attack speed.
Unarmed claws same as light rat.
Can use sorcery. Also has healing spells design for rats.

Commander Rat
+150 Health
+150 Carry weight
+150 Stamina
Unarmored equals same as heavy rat
+5% to movement and attack speed.
Unarmed claws same as heavy rat
Commander Rat can use sorcery. Commander Rat buff other were rats. You should only have 1 in your clan. Commander Rat is only useful for large clans.

Wererats have a special building called a nest. It allows fast travel as long as your wererats are naked.

Wererats are naked. Their fur covers nipples and genitals. Your hair color would be your fur cover.

Each religion (not Crom) would have their own spell list.

Naked Fighting is a passive that can only be access with full nudity enabled. It disappears when fully nudity is disabled and refunds everyone who put points into naked Fighting. Naked Fighting default passive is every point in Naked Fighting reduce stamina use by Naked Fighting offense by .75x points spent in Naked Fighting. Each point in Naked Fighting increase health, stamina and carry weight by 5 for each point in Naked Fighting. Max out at 500 at 100 points in Naked Fighting. Also while unarmored your armor value is light armor armor value. Basically you are wearing a full light armor set while unarmored. By being unarmored you don’t gain an increase stamina drain like you would if you were wearing armor. Unarmed penetration is set to 10%. When Naked Fighting is max out your unarmed armor penetration is increase by 10% for a max total of 20% armor penetration. When Naked Fighting is max out your light armor unarmored is set to epic version of light armor epic armor value. Meaning while unarmored your armor value is epic light armor set.

Naked Fighting is the only passive that allows for 100 passive points to be placed in. Naked Fighting passives.

Passives that requires you to put points into.

Unarmed: Every point in this passive your unarmed damage increase unarmed damage by 5 per point max of 50 unarmed damage. Ten passive point is max. This overrides your default unarmed damage. Your attack motion is like bone claws.

Temperature resistant: Every point in this passive increase your heat and cold resistance by 1 when naked . Max of 10 of heat and cold resistance. Ten passive points is max.

Speedy Nude: Attack speed and movement speed while naked and unarmed is increase by 2% per point in Speedy Nude. Max total of 20% movement and attack speed. Max of 10 passive points in Speedy Nude.

Naked Fighting offensive:

Fist of furry: rapidly draining stamina to attack more with your fist. Max points in it is 10. More points adds increase stamina drain,but also more attacks added in.

Naked Fighting other:

Nude emotes healing: while using an emote you can remove corruption from allies. And while dancing you can heal allies of corruption and missing health. Max rank is 10. Ten passive points is max.

Hands of healing: this consumes 50% of your stamina with each use. More points increase more health recover. Points in Hands of healing max healing is 3xstamina used. Meaning if I used 350x3=1050 health restore. This ability can be used on pawns, other players or yourself. Max rank is 10. Ten passive points is max.

So far 60/100 passive points is thought up. The rest can be offensive abilities.

Strength and Agility builds would be a waste in Naked Fighting. As you use your unarmed damage. There a passive to improve your unarmed damage allowing you to put stat points in other areas.

Complain about something and you get a rush of people. Give a well thought out idea and you get few people. I was hoping to brainstorm with people on this idea. The reason for these passives is to make each Conan player unique. Right now it feels like everyone is a copy and paste default thrall.

I suspect people have simply tired of your fantasy wishlists, and don’t bother to comment. Just because you write very long posts does not necessarily mean your ideas are well thought out, and people have learned that whatever constructive feedback they give you is ignored.

Or the fact that few whom wants the idea too scared to speak up. Don’t take this the wrong way. The community of the forums are normally toxic. 450 passive skill trees. What makes your exile special? Nothing! Example of this is you and Bob has same stats. You are now just a basic exile with nothing special about you. I don’t like being basic. I’m a star and here I shine in the darkness. Or in fortnight terms you’re just a default skin.

Attribute selection and the perks that come with them come to mind.

Well sorry to say that in this game, you are a criminal that would have died on a crucifix if a barbarian didn’t pity you and pull you down.

Oh there are plenty of armors and weapon combinations that will give you a specialized and look if skins are what you are talking about.

I see what you are trying to do. You want a meatier leveling tree that creates a plethora of different types of end game players. Yeah, I’m going to just go and say that it’s not going to happen simply because of the term balance. You want to introduce more variables into the game that will most likely affect the very balance of the game. This is important in that the game is primarily a social one with others playing. You want a game where you stand apart from others and that is the issue. You can’t reasonably ask the game to make you special from all others playing. It doesn’t work that way.

I want a more complex character creation system that makes you feel like a barbarian. I want to make each player specialize. I want to make each player teammate more useful and special. I want you to feel like you exist in the Conan universe. I want Conan Exiles evolve beyond what Ark and Rust could ever be.

Something like Wintersun, Imperious and Ordinator mods for Skyrim?
