Due to relentless hacking for over a year now, it is obvious that PC PVP servers are beyond saving.
That said, there are a ton of us who still want to play. I have a number of friends who are willing to switch to console, but only if they can bring their purchased dlc content with them.
Rather than losing ALL the PC PVP community, it seems like it would be smart to make a move like this. How do we get the gears turning on this?
Thats a great idea. Let me have my recipes and dlc i earnwd and move to XBOX so I can enjoy the freakin game.

Multiple servers got wiped again by a group of “h ackers” today. This is out of control. They barely had anyone to even wipe because everyone was still in the stone age from the 18th wipe. I would go back to console if I didn’t have to rebuy everything and lose all my bazaar stuff. So sadly its RIP to this game.
You don’t need to switch to console to play hacker free. Just find a private server. They run better than officials and have functional moderation.
played on multiple private servers. theres still hackers. they just get dealt with promptly instead of having free reign.
personally, i didnt like how admins would fight and servers would shut down over it. i preferred leaving it up to hackers to poof all my hard work instead of some admin who shuts down the server over some personal nonsense. at least on officials theres no bias’ or favorites.
I’m sorry you encountered poor server owners but that is a minority. The majority of private servers aren’t like that. Bad luck. Servers I’ve hosted in the past only ever shut down from lack of usage.
i appreciate you but im headed back to console and im trying to figure out a way to bring my friends with me. PVP is still strong on console officials.
Have you thought about making your own private server? Might be worth thinking about before you bail.

Just throwing it out there. There is a private server that just got siptah linked it’s called official 1540 reborn. I don’t have anything to say to change your fears except that I get it. I was opposed to private servers too. But with not just hackers but also the ban meta still being a thing. I have this one a try cuz well the name tbh. It seems pretty chill the server is friendly ish but there is defintally pvpers on it. The admin has banned most of the big clans who always use net limiters or some sorta hack. People won’t say it but the truth is most of the big clans are the issue with this game too because they always think everyone is cheating and use it to justify cheating.
Anyways last pitch. Admin doesn’t play. Bans cheaters quick. No stupid rules except your basic don’t cheat don’t mesh ect ect. You can build it seems pretty big seen some big bases. Servers run fast you get to play on siptah and exiled lands. Oh and xetals stuff has been found being used in ps5 sooo console is gonna get bad soon too rip.

I wish I could delete y’all’s advertisements for private servers. They don’t belong here and only muddy my post. Y’all are worse than hackers, and tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if y’all support them so you can get better numbers. So lame.
Pve is boring. If it wasnt for pvp I wouldn’t have played this game more than a few hours. I have over 2,000 hours in this game. At least a thousand of it has been watching the game die at the hands of its creators.
As much of a fan of private servers I am, this seems like the biggest risk to anyone looking for stability in a private server imo. Best is if there is only one admin who just loves the game and takes care of everything so it doesnt turn into a negotiation.

Resetters hoping for better updates… updates that make the game fun again like it was back in the day before they were only ressetting their base.

“What’s next?” After I read the threads, I keep thinking the game server will be more scriptable for fun weapons and fun boss fights. I mean this from a UE5 perspective. It has the potential now to do such. 
All ive had are bad experience with private servers. “Empire RP” was a shitshow. It was basically a PvE-C server on paper that heavily advertised RP PvP only like for story, and was very PvE friendly.
BS was just a trap for the admins buddies, who was a mega min maxing sweaty troll PvPer. They would invite a bunch of PvEers who didnt know how to fight or base prep for Official style PvP. Then the guy would declare war and waffle stomp them and take all their shit. Then hed go to the discord and talk massive trash and stroke his ego. Admins protected him. Him and his clan of murderous thugs he was “RPing”. RPing an assholre troll?
So that was the last straw. Made me quit private servers. Its not the only bad private server, but it was the one that broke the camels back. They arent perfect. Alot of them are subject to favortism and infighting.
Maybe I should buy a hack and start emptying PvE server boxes…
