I was permanently banned on the grounds of bugs to get benefits. I’ve already appealed. Has anyone ever had a ban appealed and got their account back?

That was the reason alleged. But I didn’t do any bug exploitation. Zzzzzz
Where you in a clan. Funcom bans the whole clan whenever someone in a clan breaks tos.
I haven’t been banned personally, but I have heard of several others who have been banned and gotten their account back. So, yes, there is hope.

The joy of the poor is short-lived. They denied my appeal, they said they won’t withdraw and they didn’t tell me why, they said they won’t reveal the reason. We’re pretty upset, my daughter who plays with my wife and I were pretty upset. Finally, I was told to play offline. I thought it was very severe that they didn’t give the reason and even then banning a lover from the game, even if there is indeed a mistake, is very unpleasant.

Has anyone been exploiting with out knowing it?
As an example; and I have to be vague, Lets say I put this object down, then pick it up and toss it in the recycle and it gets broken down in to 10X the materials it takes to make it. Thats cool, so you do it a few dozen more times. It’s real neat, and it’s an exploit of a bug.
You also have the option of playing on private servers or starting your own.
Note: You are not the only one that has issues with how funcom admin does things.
I think everyone is entitled to a warning and a clear explanation.
I also think no player is above the ToC.
Save yourself some time and effort, I’m sure you can find plenty of funcom Conan hate videos on youtube.
Length of ban depends on severity and if you were also flagged for cheating via Microsoft’s report system. ie get banned by Funcom for X amount of time, then get banned by Microsoft. My advice? Breathe, count to ten and play something relaxing for a few hours. Getting irate about it on the forums accomplishes nothing, except maybe getting your posts flagged.
Did you also receive an email in regards to your ban?
