Player joined clan and now they can't continue to build in their base

I’m an admin on a server and added a player to my clan, now that player can’t build in his base which was in the process of being built when he was added to the clan. How can I fix this? I tried the PlayerCanBuildEverywhere command, but it didn’t work, he’s still unable to finish his base.

Can anyone else of the clan build in this player’s base?
Are you on a private server (with mods perhaps)?

it’s a modded server, but no one else is having this issue…we all are able to build in his base, just not him

the other guy that i added the same day said he was having the same issue but it resolved itself, so he didn’t tell me until this guy brought it up…does it take a while to replicate through the system? I’ve never had this problem before.

You can try having him leave the clan and joining back up. Start by checking who is listed as the owner of the players buildings - it should be the clan, but perhaps something has gone wrong (since you’re modded).

Thanks, Mikey. I’ll have him try that and see if it works. I’ll let you know either way. It’s weird because he has another building that he isn’t having any issues at all with that just shows the clan as the owner.

Not sure if this is still relevant, but many, many, updates ago this could happen. The solution was a server restart, or (if I remember correctly) it would sort itself over time.

Thank you guys for all your help. He removed himself from the clan and then I re-invited him and it fixed it! So now i need to see if the one mod is causing the issue or if it is indeed an issue with the game itself. Time to test some stuff out.

It’s an issue with the garbage collection in the game. For some reason when the garbage collection runs, it doesn’t clean everything out and holds onto some stuff. The other guy is not having any issues at all and I invited him the same way as the guy who did have issues. Might be something Funcom needs to do additional testing on. LOL…They have a lazy trashman!

Glad it worked. It may be no more than a workaround, but it beats having to wait for a finicky and rare issue to be fixed.
