Player List -- Shows names to all when speaking in clan chat or using voice chat

When you type in clan chat, your name appears to everyone on the server in the player list. This doesn’t seem intentional.

When you use voice chat your name also appears to everyone in the player list

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

1. Use clan chat OR use voice chat
2. have someone outside of your clan check player list – you are now appearing on playerlist

Note: I would imagine that you should still be able to see your clan mates in the player list to see if they are online rather than having to check the clan tab? not so much a bug on that one though.

This is very intentional. It is the “new” vocal visibility setting which was introduced a few patches ago and enabled for all officials with the last patch. One of the many discussions about it:

To be honest don’t think players like that new feature to don’t know who is in server, not able to see if is a solo player or a big clan. Won’t be good specially for solo players that will try raid a base and suddenly 10 players come out. Or even for big clans that are looking for a good server to play. Because they won’t be able to see how many clans how big they are is it worthy spend time here or not. Is just my opinion don’t like the new feature at all.
