Hello! I’m trying to figure out how the playerlist works on a pvp server (official) now I get that it shows whoever talks in chat. But what about the people that show up that did not chat? Is that a proximity thingy?
On PC, hit ESC and go to Player List for a complete list of all players currently on the server.
This being a pvp server only shows names of people who talk in chat. I’m wondering why that is sometimes not the case and people are just shown.
A PvP server blocks the Player List so players can’t be targeting for being offline. There is a way to show a list of all the players that have logged in for the day but I feel this may be an (overlooked) exploit and I will not explain how to do this on the forums. Perhaps you can google it. ![]()
I know that trick
But I’m sometimes seeing player revealed in the list who did not chat. My base is pretty well hidden so I was wondering if a revealed name without the person chatting means they were in proximity to me.
They dont have to talk in global. Clan and local chat also makes your name show in the playerlist.
