Maybe it would be a good idea for official servers to make the game cross platform . It would make the pvp side have more pop! Since they already trimming why not just restart all the servers! I think it’s time you know how many clans have loot from years and years . Also there can be a set amount of servers instead of hundreds for each platform making it more congested instead the so many servers with just 2 people in it. This game needs a fresh start!
They also need to do something about the server list menu it always show un populated servers first they need to just automatically make it from high pop to low pop right away.
Cross platform isn’t really something they can control on their end. Like every other game that isn’t cross platform, it’s typically Sony’s fault
I all fairness, PC as an unfair advantage with range combat that consoles typically don’t have…mouse and keyboard are far superior to the controller in finesse work

This isn’t exactly a Sony issue. I was able to play alongside PS3 and PS4 players in FFXIV. The problem with cross platform is console players would get wrecked by PC players in PVP settings. And that would be in melee, not just ranged too.
Not really tbh maybe when you could animation cancel but that’s not a thing anymore maybe for consoles atleast
Tbh, as a console player, good pc players would probably annihilate most of the people I have played against. I think cross-console would be great but no crossplay with pc
Skills level doesn’t really matter… Its more about Mods-Cheats PC player have access to to Console users.
I get called out for cheating in PVP on PC time to time. (playing via Ps4 controller) since I got years of Ps4 CE play under my belt.
PC bonus of KB/Mouse doesn’t seem to be that huge.
I’d much rather have barrier between PS and Xbox go away, PC users an stay in there own boat. =3
As for mouse/kb > controller… depends on game.
I got lifetime of controller play under me… I’m so use to one over other.
Mouse over Right stick by leaps and bounds,
Left stick over WASD by long shot, bonus of WASD is extra keys near by… but movement is such garbage…
Tried to play MH rise with KB/Mouse… and it felt so alien. Its a console game… its set up to be played with controller.
I tend to turn auto aim off in COD, (ps4) can’t stand how game tries to help. Always make it worse. XD

I love the idea of crossplay. With PVP tho it has to be opt in. There’s is no denying PC has access to cheat options to get an advantage.
FC would have to have full access PVP crossplay servers and then Console Only PVP servers (goes for PVE-C as well).
PVE, wouldnt matter tho.
Im honestly considering developing a half controller/half mouse setup. It’s mostly a matter of finding the best spot for the buttons on the “left stick” component. Probably underneath like the fancy Xbox Elite controllers.
