Please, save the Katana

I agree. Throwing weapons in general are seen way less on the battlefield than I would like to. Simply because a bow is so much more viable. Maye if they would get specialist recipes too? Imagine a javelin coated in fiery tar. Funcom could also add some more recipes from Conan Unconquered in regards to that since spear throwers there get to throw burning javelins once there’s a fire wall nearby.

In that regard they’d even have opportunity for yet another DLC from the Unconquered universe, I bet that would even please corporate.

Now that i played a bit with katana i can have a valid opinion about the weapon!
Light attacks…
Maybe the faster weapon from all, i cannot say if daggers are faster, i don’t believe.
Heavy attaks
1 heavy, it’s a tricky one, it’s surely powerful, it misses very easy but, if you manage to hit the target then your target will suffer your whole heavy combo which is extremely powerful, the cherry in this cake you can also continue with 2 lights after the combo but i don’t suggest it. Because you go a bit back since your enemy is still dizzy from these hits and you apply the combo again, really powerful combo!
Second heavy! Combo breaker and bleed panish. To be combo breaker you must succeed the first heavy you will see your opponent attack and hit but as soon as you apply the second your opponent stops and get punished.
Third! Very powerful and misses nothing
Fourth! Range atack for multiple enemies too and cast bleed as well!
The katana heavy combo seems slow but it is not slower than the other 2h weapons, on fact it’s faster and equally fast enough with one handed weapons, faster than mace surely! It’s just the lights that they are so damn fast that makes the heavy look slow, but they are not. They just don’t have spins, jumps etc… They are strong direct hits that do a lot of damage. In spiders with hammer i can apply 2 heavy, with great sword, one light 2 heavy, or 2 lights one heavy, with 2h axe 2 heavy or 4 lights, with mace 3 lights and sometimes the fourth heavy if i am lucky, mace is better with shield if you want speed, but you loose the fourth hit, with katana?..
Light, heavy, light, heavy and you don’t even have to dodge.
So it is fast, difficult weapon to understand, yes, but very powerful and gives you the feeling of awesomeness when you use it. I really enjoyed this weapon, thanks a million @Talyna, if it wasn’t you i wouldn’t use it that much, thanks a million again :+1:t6:.

Claws and punch daggers have exactly the same spam!
Next time use these!
Katana on pve is more than spam lights, same with punch and claws!
Last but not least, you play pvp almost 5 years now, i am confident that you could win just with fists and kicks :wink:!

Yes but spear is also less spam friendly, also have in mind this is light attacks and is similar dmg to heavy attack from spear :rofl: so stupid

the worst thing ever is been making possible double jump and goomba build.
Let people just go around with double jumb and try to kill people full encoumbrance is one of the biggest bs ever.
I hope also daggers take a little nerf, because the pvp, right now, on ps console, is only spam daggers and try to crush people.
I really don’t understand why they nerf stuff and there is always something completely broken in the game.
Plus zombies, you nerfed crazy the thralls and now you can bring with you 3 zombies with 10,15k hp. This is a joke hahahaha

They were nerfed. their 1k native armor was removed. I see eventually that the combat thralls will go the way of the crafting thralls and you will get 3 different types of t4s…probably damage, HP, and Armor foci.

This would balance the zombies more.

We had a clan of 10 pull up to our base with 30 zombies. We had 4 ppl on so naturally we went out to fight but needless to say 30 zombies with 10k - 14k health equipped with spears in hands was too much for us. Very fun pvp.

I can’t imagine what would happen to a PS4 trying to load all of that in. They gotta regulate that in some fashion or form for the consoles.

30 zombies is just nonsense

Load times are terrible on busy servers and even sometimes when the server is low population it takes forever and that’s the n new gen. We fought once and then got ready with repairs in fear of endless load screens.
