People don’t chose this tactics because they want to, but because it is often the only way that makes sense, hey when it was still possible I lured the Rhino into Seppermaru and let the NPCs deal with it until it was on low healt because of it’s buggy Hitbox.
I would love to have an Epic battle with a Dragon like I had an Dragons Dogma, but this is Conan Exiles and if a dragon hits me here with the wrong attack then her Hitbox will push me into the ground and it is game over for me.
Also there are bosses with so much HP that I have to repair my freaking weapons in between, and you realy want everyone to endure that without Bleed, without Poisen and without Thralls?
What? I never said anything about what other people should do, I said I don’t do those things because they bore me.
I use bleed, and I use thralls, and I use poison.
What I said was I don’t just hide and let my thrall fight, we both fight bosses and mobs. Together we clear enemies much faster, my thrall requires less healing (which means even less downtime) because I’m constantly taking agro off of them and I’m not bored while it’s going on
Ok Sorry it seems I missunderstood your post and overeacted, everytime a topic like this is created tons of “git gud” Players show up and tell the others how they have to play etc. and I’m just sick of it at this point, it happens on all Gaming Forums all the time. =/
This is I feel as well. We as players don’t need a bodyguard/ super henchman to fight our battles (outside of RP of course). Battles especially Boss battles should not have one superior way of fighting them and winning. Honesty most games don’t even allow debuffs on Bosses . Personally, I would like to have the Boss label not require it to have to have massive HP pools. I would prefer the challenge to come in the way of attacks/defenses or events around them to be the challenge to fighting them.

The healing potion: I like the change.
The bleed update: Not sure why it’s so broad, I would have like if it the new bleed was active only when attacking a heavily armored opponent (Boss or Player). The old bleed should be active otherwise.
That was my suggestion as well. Have Heavy with the new 8s, medium with 14s, and light stay at 20. This would change armor thinking.

poison is different imo. Bleed is “weapon” inflicted. poison is a blood toxins. I am okay with poison stacks. Maybe not have a whole subset like feroxic in every strike. Plus it differentiates the debuffs now across the board. Sunder armor rating, Cripple movement, poison aggressive DoT, and bleed less DoT but more stackable if you chain your attacks.
True. Poison stacks have been increased, but that was not a guarantee that the tick per stack increase will stay the same . Bleed is being rebalanced and maybe poison will too . Maybe more details could be added to poison. Poison immunity through application over time play would not work as the players can die and respawn. We could use another religion item to remove or mitigate poison (looking at you Mitra) .
The answer could also adding an window of immunity to poison after using an poison removing item preventing reapplication of poison (type specific?) for a period of time. This solution would not effect pve at all as it would only affect players and maybe thralls.
I wouldn’t mind reduced with durability armor value.
I kinda wish light armor got buffed abit. (mostly all my fave designs)
They can always add more bonus resist to Surv stat, or Give some armor bonuses, or even toll kit at resist.
heck… add in rings to wear that give status resist.
Bracers and chest pieces would be a good place for resists also but I think that the player its self is where that should come from. Maybe ingesting poisons in small amounts to gain immunity or find a potion that boosts your resistance but harms you if some way too. Conan seemed to always have large costs for power.
Light armor, as it is right now, is overpowered. And it always has been overpowered.
Ok,need make heavy armor like real life plate armor.Resist to bleed and poison.And as in real life-no swimming,no climbing,no sprinting.Its ok?
