POLL => Should the Modes be Balanced Seperately?

Good question, but only Funcom can answer that and they aren’t going to. This whole farce started with the follower limit, which was “for performance reasons” and yet it still isn’t active, despite having mounts in the game.

Funny, it turns out that the follower limit did cause a whole lot of problems after all. Who could have predicted that? :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, the Purge has been a never-ending dumpster fire that got put out for a brief period, when it actually worked quite fine before they broke it again.

And let’s not forget all the thrall deaths while they’re following you. “Your follower died. Why? Who knows, who cares, eff you.” Before the follower cap and the leveling system, when that happened we would shrug, maybe cuss a little bit and go get another one from a chest. Now it’s hours of re-leveling.

Oh, it’s not more important. PVP players just need the balance more than we do, but that doesn’t make them more important. I just happen to think that Funcom can’t do a good job balancing both, whether it’s separately or together. I also believe that it would be best if they would sit down and decide which mode is more important and then stick with that.

They could decide to balance for PVP, but that’s not the only way to go. They might just as well decide that PVE is the way to go and if you want good PVP, use a bunch of mods on a private server. Look at Minecraft: it’s most definitely not a PVP game, but there are countless PVP servers with mods and rules for PVP play. When my son plays Minecraft, that’s where he hangs out. When I play Minecraft, the only mod I need is OptiFine. :man_shrugging:

I didn’t say we did moan and groan and whine and complain more than the PVP crowd. And notice that, again, I said “we”, because I’m part of the PVE crowd and I did plenty of my own moan-groan-whine-complain posts and comments on the forums. If you need evidence, look me up in the Follower Limit Feedback Thread :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
