Hi all. I played this game for long time until 2019.

My main characters were Korando (BS), Calore (Demo), Andromaeda (Sin) and others.

I was very active also on forums, both in PvE and PvP.

In 2019 my account was banned. I will report a funny extract of the permanent ban communication:

“As this is your 1st violation, your account will be suspended PERMANENTLY.”

The reason is that I was joking on global about selling my account (that was quite narcisist jut to get attention, but come on…).

Now my questions:

  • Is anyone I knew in the PvE or PvP community still playing this game?
  • Are minigames running?
  • Does anyone experienced unban of his account after 5+ years?
  • Does Funcom support replies at all anymore?
  • Would it be worth to invest (200 EUR or more) in a new fresh 80 lvl toon with the AA points from shop? If minigames are not running it’s a NO for me anyway. And if they are running, most probably will be a NO because I will not give money to Funcom considering what they did with my long time account. But if game is alive, I could think about it.

  • Minigames: Some on Crom, not a super popular thing anymore and of course when they do run you have the alts, afk’ers etc… that just stand around so not sure how satisfying they are.
  • Funcom does eventually get around to support tickets. it’s pretty much just 1 guy covering them part time now.
  • Big bucks JUST to run mini games? No.

Mini died because of afk troll. Rarely happens at pvp week

Don’t come back for pvp. (if you want to pve though, that’s still possible)

Unless you accept that pvp happens only a few days a month, and you are lucky to be online at that time. And the pvp I’d consider semi worth playing is the open world brawls on Fury, not the horrible minis of Crom, full of trolls, t6/rf stacked toons, onslaught snare gems (unremovable and stacking slows) and purely anti-fun behaviour all around. IDK how much cheating/exploiting is around per se, but no doubt it can happen too.

AoC does not have a single GM anymore, it runs purely on its own.
