If I make a bug report will it be hidden? I’d rather not show more ppl how to do it

Report it to one of the community members. I sent it to @Mayra for example.

Okay, that’s another thing than my “problem”
with the lost connection.

Yeah, I hated Skelos too, every time I got out of the dungeon, instantly dead as soon as the loading screen finished.
(Even with Thrall, I was dead because they attacked me first)

Last time there were even a few sigils that lost on it.
(I need a server transfer Doc )

That never happened to me with the jungle.

And yes, I agree with you in PvP it was gross with all the spawn killers.
That’s why I mainly play pve, because the first time I played Conan I really have a heartache.

New hotfix is out.

No hotfix for the aim bot glitch? It’s been reported and is a very simple fix.

Can someone please tell me why on earth this keeps happening? Everytime there is a new update come out, even just a couple of Gb, it says that it is this large.

I will often stop and delete the patch, and try to re-download it, but more often than not it is the same outcome. My partners ps4 says that it is 676.4 mb, and given my ps5 updates are usually twice the size, the update shouldn’t be anymore than around ~1.5gb…should it!? Can anyone help with this…?

EDIT- I wonder if anyone experiences this. @Darkzombie, @Barnes, @LostBrythunian do any of you folks experience this one?

Sorry to say I’ve never experienced this mate, and I’m not tech savvy enough to offer even a shot in the dark as to what would cause it but I’ll hit google at smoko and see what I can dig up :crossed_fingers:

So I did a bit of reading and there’s not much out there but I did see 2 reddit posts from people experiencing the same problem, just with other games. One of the people realised they didn’t have automatic updates set so were actually downloading more than one update which I’m pretty sure would not be your issue. One had a bug where the displayed download size was way bigger than it actually was, it was fixed with a factory reset. That’s about as much use as this game playing roofer is going to be here bud.

This happens on one of my PS4s. CE will download and download, which is why I stopped updating.

For many manufacturers it’s not unusual to have to download the entire game every time; my PC version of WWE2K22 does it via Steam. Which is why I pretty much uninstalled that particular title.

Darkzombie you didn’t have to do that mate! But thanks a million for that. The main reason I asked you was because as one of my countrymen I was curious if it was some sort of quirk unique to our reigon. I was going to ask @everybodyvsME too, but I was limited to 3 tags. I do have automatic update tuened off (even though they still download automatically anyway ), but I will try try to switch them back on and see if it does the trick. Its worth a shot.

Thanks for the reply there Barnes! So if it happens to us, but not other members such as Darkzombie or my partner, it seems to be quite subjective, and for me at least, the rhym and reason behind it remain elusive. And it is strange that it is always the same number: 63.110gb. I was previously under the misconception that Chapter 3’s updates may comprise a ‘data bundle’ of sorts, but I am guessing it may not be the case. I actually wondered to myself if this may be have been causing that data corruption issue I had earlier; downloading the same update over and over again. So no ideas there Barnes? Either way my sincere thanks for your insight.

I might generate a bug report on this and see if the team have any ideas. But just to check, @sestus2009 and @stelagel do either of you guys have the issue outlined in the post above?

I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but I think it might be due to the game’s format: is it disc-based, or is it all digital. In my opinion, the console that is downloading a full patch every time (and I’ve only done it once past the first large download) is disc-based. I’m just not 100% sure anymore because both formats are present on the console due to PS Plus.

I was on the disc based version until that recent cascade failure/corruption issue you helped me out with. At that point I uninstalled and reinstalled the digital version. So it is the digital version. :grinning:

Sorry mate, I couldn’t answer that for you either. All my updates happen while I’m offline. Last time I did see a download was a few years back and that was only because I was booted offline because of it.

Yes, it had some time, but this time i had to delete again other games for the update.

mine is also the digital version.
All download/updates for me before and including 3.0 were massive.

By contrast this is this weeks patch.

This one has not had a chance to poke at it yet
Hopefully the connectivity is good.

This one has noticed Playstation updates get very temperamental when interrupted or paused.
Also, the way the update works it requires basically twice as much free space than is listed plus an additional instance of the base files

As this one understands the situation…
The new data is downloaded, and added to new copy of the game, once that data is integrated and the new game file created, then the system goes back and removes the old game. It’s safer, but extremely memory intensive.

On my ps5 I’ve had it say it needed say 75 - 95 GB free or whatever. But then after I free up enough space the download starts and sometimes the download is way smaller. Like say under 10 GB or 5 GB or whatever.
