PS4 Update 3.0 - Discussion Megathread

There is a patch of flowers on the island, use the pray emote on it.

That’s awesome. I always wondered what that patch was about

Today’s release on Playstation is completely unplayable. Everything is missing, not just dlc skins. Enemies are invisible, trees are floating, and dancers now GIVE corruption. And the list just goes on. No one is going to buy the season pass if they can’t play the game. I’d rather be able to play version 2.9 again and WAIT for this to be fixed and re-released on Playstation. So… I am off to play something else. Prioritize this fix!

Telith Island is in the North (Exiled Lands) in that big lake. Go to the groups of flowers and do a praying emote. Done!

For me personally, the worst bug is not being able to mix the build styles. Turian wall will NOT snap to a Stormglass foundation. I tried the update out on my two trial accounts - and now I’m terrified to go to my main account with my lvl 60 char… Crom have mercy for what I’m about to see…

This update is in a less finished state than usual.
Very unfortunate.
Not a good intro to the new monetization system.
This one’s previously purchased items aren’t even showing up at a reasonable rate, and don’t seem to be able to play with each other.

If everything were working it might be different. The new stat system ect seem promising.
But the implementation is…
Ayesh.
How did this pass certification?

Friends, this one appreciates the hard work and looks forward to seeing when it is in a more playable form.

So I logged in and saw the village of my lvl 60 char, let out a loud cackle (at 3 in the morning here in the Netherlands), shook my head, and logged off…

Yeah, I’m going to bed… Goodnight, everyone!

when funcom will fix these problem from the new update?

I hate that npc KO bar resets when they return to their original standing spot. I use blunted arrows for knocking out thralls. I can just barely knock a level 1 out before he tries to run back to his spot.

Use a club. It still works perfectly well.

Some DLC weapons are invisible too, argossean, bloodletter, Pictish, poitain, turanian and yamatai.

You don’t need sacrifice to become completely invisible, only to players of course. Npcs still detect you.

I made my base as oldschool only vanilla pieces, blackice. No DLC armor, only epic armor set stolen from NPCs. In that way game can be barely played. But I need a sorcery to make teleporters. And sorcery cave kills me.

The champion armor is okay. The silent legion too. If you know how to make the silent it helps. The dragon armors are way stronger and are ok too! In fact, you can arm yourself with dragon weapons also.

The green color on thrall HP bar is not good, red was clearly visible so why change it? Also the scaling of the bar by distance is terrible, i was barely able to see Rotbranch HP from a safe distance. And as you know, things are invisible…

I spent some time with the game for a few hours last night.

I appreciate that some of the graphical wonkiness that was present before 3.0, odd layering transparency and shading of objects at a distance, etc. seems to have been corrected.

As others have reported some objects are not rending correctly, for example when I placed a Lesser Wheel of Pain, only the central core of the wheel rendered.

There is some definite Server-Client Lag, the stamina bar not going down smoothly, but in large chunks for example. Also certain textures seem to take a long time to render in for some objects.

For reference, I am playing on PS5, with the game installed on the internal SSD.

Logic mate. Do you honestly think a company will walk away from the bugs that have surfaced in a product?? It’s a business mate. A patch will be coming soon.
