Issue: Purges still fail to trigger (by a long time)
The variety of purges have improved. Now I’ve been attacked by several Scorpions and Locusts at Sepermaru (but no NPCs - the city of Sepermaru either doesn’t mind me taking their citizens or hasn’t figured out who’s responsible).
However, the Purge meter, sometimes gets “stuck”. For example, I’ve been playing for about 6-8 hours for three days now with the Purge meter on full (purple). That’s the equivalent of several weeks as the game’s day/night cycle passes.
This happened once before. When it was stuck previously, I logged out. The next day I logged in and almost instantly the Purge triggered. So that was good. But now its stuck again and it won’t trigger.
I realize the a Purge triggering is a random calculation. However, I would suggest including some kind of mechanic to ‘force’ the Purge to trigger after the Purge meter has been full for “x” amount of time. If such a mechanic is already in place, then perhaps shortening that amount of time is in order (or the mechanic is not working as intended and needs to be looked at again). Hope this report helps.
Purge settings:
Purge Setting Level 6
Purge Delay 5
Restrict Purge Time (box is checked, and no matter how many times I uncheck it, when I close out and then access the Purge settings again, the box is checked again - its stuck - so maybe that’s why the Purges aren’t triggering??)
Purge Preparation 10
Purge Duration 20
Minimum Number of Online Players 1 (me)
Purge Meter Trigger Value 5,000
Purge Meter Update Interval 5
EDIT: It just turned 6pm here on a Friday, and the Purge triggered immediately. The stuck Purge settings are definitely the cause of the Purge not triggering. Please fix the server settings panel. Thanks in advance!
