i run my own server and noticed that the option to have to feed thralls wasn’t showing up anymore in the server settings i was wondering if this was a bug or if they completely removed it from the setting menu. i went to single player and removed all mods and it still doesn’t show up. i also noticed if i give my thrall say a 10 stack of food and exit his inventory all 10 in the stack disappear he gets the buff from the food but i didn’t think all 10 should disappear
They removed the need to feed them several patches ago… giving them food only gives them a buff for some time and helps them heal a bit, I think.
The options are gone from the UI, but they are still there in the ServerSettings.ini file, and you can mess with them… but it will probably finally removed at some point in the future, I guess.
EDIT: Also, yeah… they’re like a black hole for consumables… they consume everything you give them! If you intend for them to have the buff, or heal them, you should only give them one piece at a time!
@Leeux Thanks for the response i remember them removing the need but didn’t remember seeing where they removed it from the ui. Im having a mod issue that’s not letting them eat the food for the buff which isn’t a big deal anyways just wanted to be sure what i was seeing wasn’t a bug. Thanks again
No problem! Yeah I have also that issue too, as I play with a lot of mods! So feeding them also don’t work for me…
But I have seen people in YouTube using the feature live not so long ago, so I know it works in the vanilla game! 
I think I remember reading somewhere that they were slowly removing the feeding system from the UI. My guess is, last patch they finished getting it all out of the code.
