Have the rusted keys (that get you into the little side rooms at the end for a few extra armor scraps) always had spoil timers or is that a new thing? I thought I’d lost a couple before, but I just had four go poof on me because I didn’t have time to finish the dungeon today, so I spawned one in to check and it’s got 1 hour. I could have sworn I’ve previously got away with dumping spares in chests for next time I go back.
A spoil timer may have been added. Maybe because of server transfer?
Yeah, server transfer might make sense as a reason. They’ve definitely got spoil timers now (at least on my singleplayer game).
That is really lame, hope there is a setting to turn that off for servers with transfers turned off.
It was always a thing as far as I remember.
I stopped playing on Exiled Lands (and in the Warmaker’s) when Savage Wilds mod came out, so a good couple of moths, and then I found a rusted key there (second/third day) it has already a timer. So if even I am wrong, the keys have expiration at least for a half year.
I guess maybe I just never noticed it then
Hi,
The rusted keys have always had a timer. However, they can be stored in a preservation box.
Good luck!
Yeah, and that!
There are 5 keys, but 4 doors, so if you collect extra statuettes, and keys, every fifth run is a one kill run!
@DanQuixote I think at first nobody expects a key to go bad. But hence the name, they can erode while in your pocket while you do your conany stuff. (You know…fighting)
Well now it finally makes sense. Also Hero hearts now spoil and I don’t think they used to.
Keys having spoil timers on them is just…weird. Don’t like it. I suppose you could think of them as being enchanted?
Hero’s heart having a spoil timer makes more sense to me.
That being said, does the timer on the heart have to be so short?
Petition Funcom for a black ice lunch bucket? LOL.
