Just a quick question:
Whenever I try to move a placeable or a thrall somewgere else I can not really do, because the game says “Too far”.
It is ridiculous and pointless in offline single player. Is there an ingame or a .ini setting that can increase the distance I can move my stuff witout placing them down every 10 meters?
What annoys the absolute crap out of me is the way it works differently for thralls than placeables. With thralls, you at least get the chance to move it back a little if you get the “too far” message. With placeables it’s all “No, you went too far, I will give you no real warning about it, I will just make you go back to the placeable and try that shit again because Crom and I hate you.”
Something like that I’d imagine might be there for technical reasons in addition to balance reasons. Like for example, trying to move a bench full of stuff beyond a certain render distance causes weird things to happen, so the move distance is limited to prevent it.
In a situation, when my girlfriend joined me and collected 40-50 horses, and now we have to move it is a bit tedious, and would take too long, that’s the main reason I asked.
What @Glurin I can imagine as a reason, but wouldn’t be more logical to set a slider between the minimum (let’s say 1 meter) to the technically allowed maximum? I highly doubt 10ish meter is the maximum, even with low settings.
i think the bigger question is why on earth do you have so many horses? Did she want you to start a horse ranch? My clan and I each have one horse and spares in a fridge in case one dies. I think the first thing you should do is break bonds with most of them.
Ranch. This is her first game and she loves collecting foals, she wants to build a ranch indeed. I only use one horse, used the others to level them up only.
