Question about transportory stone

Ok I have unlocked all of sorcery and built my first transportory stone.

In its menu it says “ignite - clan”. Does this mean that only my clan can use it or can everyone?

Im on a pvp server so knowing whether or not I need to take precautions agaisnt someone using my T.stones to enter my base is a big one.

Only the clan can ignite. Once on, anyone can pass through it (*). To secure it you must extinguish. Each time to ignite and extinguish costs sacrificial blood and brimstone.

  • Interesting note:. Apparently in PvE/ pve-c environments, this is not the case and I believe it’s because the stone is considered a container and since containers are protected from access in the PvE/ PvE-c servers…it does not provide teleport to those outside the clan.

Thank you. Makes sense.

Lies, i only play on pve , and i use another clan teleporters…and they use mines, so i just covered some behind doors to prevent lazy ass players who use teleports now to loot others …

In all servers anyone can use teleporters and stones , just only clans can ignite them

Then the first report I saw was wrong

PLEASE!

Make Teleporter Stones only accessible for Clan Members!
It is so annoying to turn them on and off to prevent players from using it!

PLEASE!

The tactical advantage granted by freely placeable teleporters is so huge that it needs to have a balancing factor, in addition to the short-term debuff.

As someone that uses the stones as a method of securing as well, @Kapoteeni is 100% correct. It would completely remove all aspects of raiding if it was limited only to clan members as everyone builds a hidden storage barn somewhere else. The cost of those three poor NPCs (and some brimstone but the amount is just silly in comparison) as you sacrifice to gain the blood is appropriate.

Some things I have noticed when using these in strategic matters.

  1. there is part of the transporting bubble that extends underneath the floor (less than a foundation worth so if its on terre firma, it’s not noticeable but if you got it hanging somewhere, it would be very noticeable.
  2. The sound of it as you activate and use it is booming. If there are folks around, they will hear it. Risk you gotta take in using them.
3)Some devious traps can be devised as @Ragnaguard shows in one. I am thinking of something different as far as traps go…one may get me banned so I don’t think its feasible (green wall) and the other still needs to be vetted. (It’s very hard to see outside the bubble when you get to your destination and therefore if you can raise it to a point where they just fall to their death and make it so the overhang of the base is minimal…the fun that can be had.
