That was my first ever base location. Living next to a white tiger and the Thunderfoot AND SIMBA… dangerous but beautiful.
The corner of F,G & 5,6, almost dead center map, just west of the sinkhole. There are low and very high plateaus all about.
Built on solid rock, what purge, everything you need to live is nearby, everything else is an adventure.

Well I can’t speak for everyone, but I generally don’t go there because it’s awful.
(Well it’s nice design-wise and everything, it’s just…a volcano.)
That spire out back where you built your keep (and where the goat spawns) was one of my favorite places to build. That + a drawbridge = winning.
I found a relatively safe path between them, apart from one nosy elephant that gets in my way from time to time
