Question Regarding the "Building Pieces and Stations being Converted" Patch Note

In the 3.0 patch there was a bullet point saying:

If you log into the game with building pieces that are covered by this new system in your inventory, they will be converted to its raw materials and placed in a box within your inventory

Is this a temporary thing or is this permanent? It’s a bit annoying not being able to store already crafted additional stations to save on space, then bring them out when I need to ramp up production. I know I can just store the materials need to craft the benches instead and then refund them when done, but it seems unnecessary when the completed station could just be stored instead.

Not sure. Something you can test by picking up a station and trying to store it in your inventory.

That doesn’t answer my question haha. I already know that it will be auto-converted into the raw materials after a log out or server restart. I want to know if this functionality is permanent or temporary.
