Farm for Sword of Crom, Predatory Blade, OR get recipe for Venom infused pike.
Stick heavy flawless epic armor and gas mask on thrall.
Spec yourself for ENC, and appropriate climate gear, hell carry both climate types just in case. Get plenty of the new fish to make your life bar look like a millennial text message.
Laugh as you just kite them around during pvp to 1-3 shot 90% of players wanting to actually 1v1.
Opposing player note:
If you want to have some sort of balanced fighting between you and another actual player, well wrong game.
the problem i see is, thralls have been buffed after capture to not make them just meat (thin sliced???) shields, but they have no consequences when it comes to stamina. If somehow they had a stamina mechanic, then the dps wouldn’t be so bad. But they basically can spam attack, and a weapon designed to have a counter balance of stam-out is now exploitable.
Thralls do fight better with Telith’s Lament then with predatory blade, since they use heavy attacks quite often.
Best Experience I made is give them as much hyperarmor as possible so they keep swinging no matter what gets at them, so either a greatsword or (now) hammer.
What about thralls with Spears? Dragonbone Spears with spiked fitting are cheap as chips to mass produce but should I be doing 2 handed swords instead?
I have several Lissas, how exactly do you equipment them? I got turned off by watching videos that showed archer thralls were worse than fighters or even sherpas with bows so I gave all the Lissa clones melee weapons only.
I agree just getting the 9900hp Sherpas is the max move atm but I fear Funcom will fix this at some point and sherpas won’t attack as much or be very limited in weapons they accept etc
I gave mine all Splinter Bows because its the highest damage bow other that the Reach of the Red Mother. Or Frost shots.
I armor them in various heavy armor. As their melee one has a hammer and the rest have legendary swords left over. Jedias etc.
She manages well as does 100 Arrows lady.
She reacts well. She only really engages in melee if they approach her. Sometimes she forgets she has weapons.
Only thing I have noticed is that they like 2 handed weapons not one handed. Even though when you first get them they have 1 handed. Freya and Dina are the only exception. They seem to want to use one handed.
So after some trial and error I’ve found easy ways to counter thrall metas like this. Simply fit advanced blunted fittings on spare pikes and take turns with your team hitting them until they are knocked out. Then when they’re down, drag them off somewhere with bindings to finish them off or capture them in a wheel.
