Recipe RNG madness solution

How about a discoverable new recipe for an item that can be delving with eldarium or crafted wtih power fragments that can increase the odds of a chosen recipe…or maybe even split up the 200+ into bite-size groups of 10 (and therefore have 20 different recipe alterations that you can find on the map) Keeps the RNG but not to the ridiculous amounts that we are seeing right now. Gives us more control over what we are doing vs just reacting to the whatever the RNG gods give us.

U just described what keeps most players out of siptah… The endless grind… I would rather pay 100 times the price there is now for 1 delving recipe if i had the right to learn exactly what i wanted, rather than the randomness that exists now …

@Ragnaguard , This I believe will be the exact reason for someone to choose between 2 maps, or to travel between maps. In EL the knowledge (most of it) is right there waiting for you to earn it but the lands are rough. In Siptah you can earn all the goodies and become reach in a week, you can even solo almost the whole Siptah if you like but, the knowledge is Joker :man_shrugging:. I remember my first week in Siptah I had 50 daggon scales, to do what with them, I had only cooking recipe X only :rofl::rofl::rofl:. I had buff alcohol but no brewing skills and I didn’t use my pick, I was farming all the camps, I had everything from just farming chests, crates and flotsam. But knowledge zero

The RNG for these types of recipes makes little sense since it cost a fragment of power.

If they account for ones you have already, then it would be fine. Your luck may be bad but eventually you will get it.

Over time, recipes were added to the Exiled Lands that one could just find. I hope that over time, more discoverable recipes will be added to Siptah. The most recent patch put the Stygian Invader armour as a discoverable. Which makes me think it’s something they are working on.

I’m ok with Exiled Lands specific recipes being prayer locked behind RNGesus’ whim. But the things common to both locations, or specific to Siptah I would like to see more deliberately placed. Honestly, the Siptah specific gear recipes are (Stygian Invaders, Black Corsairs, Grey Ones, Primitive Peeps and all the Vault recipes). It’s just a matter of getting the ones that are shared integrated.

At least with the delve, it will be a recipe of the type of item put into the bench… and few recipes will be as good as vault or grey ones weapons, even after the bleed nerf.

But back to the point, there are many fundamental items that are hidden behind RNG that are very frustrating. A few more fixed learning points would be nice.
