Im glad op made this post. It would be awsome if a thrall that is on follow would do %50 less damage to players. The ones guarding your base can still do the same damage. I usually play as a duo in pvp or even solo. Its almost impossible to take on alpha clans anymore because of following thralls. We still kill more people but in the end it just takes that 1 warping thrall to catch you. Need to empower the players skills more than a warping thrall. If your offended, Im not sorry
The only way players should match thrall health is if once a player engages with any enemy we have to fight to the death like a thrall does. Take away the human AI part we have as an advantage, then you can compare Health. The extra health on thralls is because they tank, and tank, and tank. never pulling back to heal, dodging, or tactically moving to anew position.
yeah, but in games that use tanks, they usually aren’t also the highest dps
There’s probably thousands of games where players have 5% the health of bosses and somehow tons of players complete them without any helpers
Player tanks or NPC tanks. solo player or multiplayer. A tank in solo play is different. The games tend to be linear, and you can get to your objective. If you have a party system on a sol type game, then you are always commanding them. PVP changing everything about tanking. If a thrall was equal to players (or vice versa) then they would have to be immune to player damage if they were not on follow, as people would just 3 shot them when ever they found them. now, they are still easy open world targets if you can get any thrall on a 3 v 1 situation without their owner around. Bleed, poison, stagger from a group of 2 or 3 usually is enough to eliminate as fast as a mini boss when you are at level 30.
maybe you should not just spam everything. You know, tactics.
Raid time was 2 hours. There is no time for tactics.
Also in an open PvP fight you don’t have time for “tactics” as well.

I was replying to the claim that we have to have thralls because of the high boss HP… and you don’t need thralls in tons of other games with high boss HP
You have to have them to farm the meta weapons on PVP fast enough to not be wiped in first week by OG clans on server. But I agree, on PVE/PVE-C one can beat bosses at their leisure.
and the thrall damage is normal in the server settings?
