Reseting Thrall Perks (Console Cmds)

So I tried to reset a thrall Perk using Console cmds. I couldn’t “Unlearn” the perk, e.g.

FollowerUnlearnPerk Deadeye

nothing happened, so I had to “unlearnAllPerks”. Well that cleared the unwanted Perk but then I needed to replace (reroll) the Perk So I thought the thrall needed to gain some XP. At level 11 the perk had still not rerolled. So then I tried

FollowerLearnPerk Relentless

nothing happened, and I observed all perks were locked: “Perk needs to be unlocked” well how? If I can’t lower the thrall level to gain XP and “Unlock” the Perk then is this Thrall forever w/o a level 10 Perk? In other words, if I level the thrall to 15 will it only “Unlock” the level 15 Perk?

I refuse to use Sorcery, so I don’t know if that would even work now. Why couldn’t we just use the OG Yellow Lotus potion on thralls? (Recommended years ago, before AoS, IIRC. Fell on deaf ears.) Was it to make Sorcery relevant?

Pretty much. They did something similar with the Dyer’s Bench, except that was worse.

Since you’re already using admin console commands, could you not spawn in the Elixir of Rebirth? Or would that also be using sorcery?

It might be an incorrect perk identifier. Console commands usually require identifiers that aren’t necessarily the same as the name displayed in the user interface. For example, you can’t spawn Grrr Legbiter by using his name, you have to use Exile_Armorer_4_Darfari.

@Xevyr, you’ve looked at the devkit a lot, do you know the IDs for thrall perks?

Most likely just uses their id number, Relentless is 214

I trained my thrall to level 15. The level 10 perk unlocked and was assigned but the level 15 perk is still locked.

However, using the Elixir worked, thx. And while it is a solution, As far as I’m concerned this is a bug or maybe just lacking code (an oversight). FunCom didn’t provide a means to properly reacquire thrall perks from the console.

Generally speaking the console is not meant for players. While some of the commands were added as “cheats” like god mode etc. (same as the ones in the panel) even those aren’t meant to be used for playing as intended, but the other ones that aren’t even on the panel, those are mainly for internal testing for the devs themselves, so yea, not every feature is fully covered and there are definitely oversights. Because of this imo. we can’t really call the lack of a console command a bug.
