I’m just taking this a little bit more serious than i should, cuz Funcom really stuck out their neck for us.
They were peeing themselves that the patch would go south… and now these jokers kick Funcom while their down. Just makes my blood boil.
Of course, the main question is; Are all our bases going to decay tonight because the timer is messed up?
This is game wide - not just one guy getting stuck in a foundation…
Game breaking to say the least - wife’s guild is about to packup and leave due to the amount they have just lost over the last two hours…
Funcom deserves a kick they messed up again and they did it badly cause they were running from the heat players put on them. You defending them is more of a joke actually.
Not sure how many ways you can contort to make an poop sandwich handed to the players taste better for them.

I’m going to be quite honest with you. If that’s all it takes for them to leave. We’re all probably better off without. I’ve lost quite a few bases in server wipes because of issues with server hosts and other bugs. But I never quit over it.
I’ve lost entire villages due to this. Never fretted. Always willingly sacrificed it for the good of the server. And I’m pretty damn sure they haven’t put in as much effort as we had for some of our larger builds. Gathering all the materials by hand, nothing spawned, nothing given. All the while fending off PVP attacks and the like.
This game requires a bit more intestinal fortitude then most. So they might be doing themselves a favor.

And poeple who lose alot of stuff on unofficial servers have only themselves to blame, for not testing the mods on testlive first.
it is VERY SPECIFICALLY an admin’s choice, wether they want to upgrade or not.
Depends on the host. Gportal had a nasty habit of updating stuff while I was asleep lol. Even when I told it not to.
But those who run mods, they’re used to this. Most of the complaints are from official players. As normal. They’re never happy. Ever.
Hey now. That’s an assumption xP I for one am a total official fan. But that’s cuz I take good care of the server i’m on.

Yeah. I dont agree with a roll back either. It will only make the issue worse. Better if it havent went live at all.
So a roll back to the buggy version that crashes nightly vs the buggy version that at least seems stable enough to not crash thus far… I think I can live with the current version we have now until they (hopefully) are able to fix the bugs without breaking anything else…
I am not happ with this patch: Half of my thralls on my walls are just disappearing into the ground never to be seen again. A full chest of hardened bricks just disappeared to never be seen again and that stuff took me ALOT of work to make. Plus, my base lags like hell now.
Please fix this.
I’m glad it went live, cuz i’m having a blast now. That’s what a game is for.
And in case your wondering why i’m on the forums, and not playing right now… I am actually playing. Just taking the 14 minutes between spawns farming named thralls to write my posts on the forum on my off-screen ;3
someone has to defend Funcom for putting themselves out there for us. They were hesitant to release this patch. But they did so anyway cuz poeple like me really needed it. So here I am, on guard.
