As you follow the ancestral ghost bear up the hill and the chest is revealed, it will not allow you to access the contents of the chest.

Yes it’s still broken for me too.
Yet when people send me photos with the loot, i stopped caring about this one and tbh, all the ghost chests 
.

I made further attempts last night while playing to access the chest, it seems making sure your weapon/tool is sheathed and repetitive clicking of the action button (Sqaure) it dropped a loot bag on the ground but chest still did not open but was able to attain loot. It was not great loot but it was usable.

As of Nov. 30 2024 this chest still won’t open normally.
