Sandstorm Breathing Mask - Run out and back

If you run in an area with gas and put the Sand Breathing Mask on, the gas will still tick and damage you. If you run with the mask on, out of the gas and go back, the gas wont damage you anymore.

1.Get into an area like “Forbidden Garden” without Mask on and then put it on. With the Mask on the damage will tick further and wont disappear.
2.If you run out the gas with mask on, the damage tick will disappear and u can run back to the gas area without getting any harm.

What happens if you don’t run out of the gas? I think there is a delay of several seconds when you put the mask on, where you still get damaged. I don’t think this is a bug.

i think it’s a Bug, at the last time if Harvest Sulfur. I Had the bug too

Maybe the devs did it on purpose, implying if you injest the toxic air and then put the mask on, you’ve trapped the toxins on the inside. :-p

I dont think so, because if you stay in the gas, the tick goes from normal gas to gas 1, gas 2, gas 3 and further
