Conan exiles is such a beautiful and it is a shame to coat it completely in Marble or concrete I therefore choose to build my building to the scenery if I want a tree taken down I will take it down if I wanted to stay I will leave it I am Midway through an epic fairytale theme build in the jungle I log on today to discover that all the scenery has despond is there a way to stop this from happening I am on the verge of cancelling my subscription closing the server and taking my money back out of the account
Harvestable things like trees, bushes, and rocks disappear in a radius around your building as a protection to stop your home from being overtaken by a tree blocking the doorway, or your chests becoming buried in rock.
If you want to preserve some of the scenery nearby I would advise building in a clearing, as it won’t block as much

I have built-in several places and I tried to incorporate the nearby trees into my buold they scenery is what makes the build so epic and to be honest when I came on today I felt so disheartened with the game franchise as a whole for the first time in 6-months I am turn the game off and considering shutting my server down for example we built a church with a graveyard the trees is what made the building look so beautiful a few days later we go back and Discover that the trees and disappeared today I feel absolutely sticking to my core I have once again spent all this time and effort giving serious thought into consideration of what I’m building how I’m building where I’m building the theme I’m building to, to have the scenery destroy it all by despawning… look if i want the trees i leave them there …if i want them gone i take them out. arggghhhh… this is ***** BS i was building in the jungle a fairytale themed build the scenery is so vastly important to the build . Without it you could say there is no build
If you run your own server, there’s plenty of mods that will let you plant your own trees and natural decorations

You can’t. MODS are only available on PC.

We are playing on ps4 official and being careful not to cut down trees by our dase and they are still there it could be your settings. We have trees next to foundations that have been there for a couple months. @Ravenblack173 welcome to the Forum.
It’s in the personalised parameters under "suvival’ or “harvest” (not sur if it’s the right word used in the english version). But you can only change it before launching the server for the 1st time.
Ive changed it after and had it work just fine. More likely you must restart the server after changing it.
Thank you guys… so if i trun down land clam radius to 0 is that possible would that still work so that in effect the only land that you would technically own is the actual space that your building block is in and the immediate surrounding a piece of land remains un claimed… am i right in thinking this way ???
I don´t recall if landclaim is still working correctly when you set the landclaim radius all the way down to zero, but 0,1 works for sure.
You will always have a little lose around you base, do to how the game was coded because npc´s and bosses need spawning space, but yes, with a setting that low it will make your base have almost no claimed land around you.

Its a Sony thing. Consoles have an extra certification process as well. On steam because people have varying hardware, mods have a lot of freedom to do things that for some may be unplayable. Consoles on the other hand have a different standard since they want a uniform experience. You can push a change to steam in an instant but pushing a change to console can take days or weeks, and that’s if you know what you’re doing coding for consoles.
The actual smallest value you can set the landclaim radius to in the server settings is 0.25 - this however means trees/rocks/etc will respawn right up against the edge of your buildings.
It’s equivalent to roughly 5 feet.
