Sepermeru - Bandits

In my humble opinion the bandits are too much. I am a newer player with no high level gear. I liked Sepermeru as a neutral place (beside the frequent buggy attacks). But yesterday - after the Anniversary update - I used my offline lvl 39 char and was ambushed several times by the bandits. With my smaller chars I would have died.
What I want to say is, for me the immersion is a bit spoiled now because of these bandits. For a higher char this is for sure no problem, but for me the bandits in the moment are a reason not to visit Sepermeru any longer with my online chars.

The patch all in all is a good things & I want to say thank you for the good work. But please reduce the bandits…

Thank you

I know this is going off topic a little, but I would like it if every here and there as random spawn in encounters in the wilderness, we got ‘jumped’ by either Bandits or Slavers. Although not in the Newbie River area.

As long as it doesn’t happen too frequently, I’d be all for it. Kind of like the random encounters in PnP sessions

Yeah I definately agree with you there Kendaric. It should feel like an uncommon occurence which catches us off guard, not just a recurring event. I personally think a bit like the random roadside bandits on Skyrim, rare and just enough to keep us from falling into a false sense of safety.

You have been waylaid by enemies, and must defend yourself!

I like the addition of the reavers and plunderers, but I do miss the lively group that was hanging out and dancing around the brazier between Waterside and Westwall. I’m assuming the bandits must have killed them, but they were one of the nicer bits of city life and it seems counter-productive to have removed them when trying to make the city feel more alive.

Yeah, they overdid it quite a bit.

Having some bandits hang around back alleys in Sepermeru was a good idea, it’s just the way it’s implemented that’s …well, not so great.
