Server Transfer! A feature of great importance!

I own both CE and Siptah, but stopped playing Siptah because CE is much better IMO.
Still when server transfers were activated, I had planned to visit Siptah with my CE main Avatar, mainly for fun and a change of pace, but also to gather some P2W stuff and bring it back, lol.

After people started losing their characters to the black hole of transfers, I held off and waited to see if there would be a fix, but instead they shut it down.
Personally I have not played on Siptah for over a year now, and do not miss it.
As I recall, server transfers popped up right before the great official server cull, and that might have been one reason they tried it.
Do not expect it to come back anytime soon, so you might as well go look for another online game to play with your “limited resources”.

Not really, it’s not a selling point for the game and last I checked not present on the store page.

Idk, two ppl I know actually bought CE because they thought it is in the game because of the OFFICIAL Funcom page that still details instructions on how to Servertransfer.
I’d link it here but I can’t. BUT it will be the first result if you google on any Browser

Buddy you played the tutorial during a free trial, then spent way too long watching biased youtube videos fantasizing about what you think the game should be like. If that’s not wierd idk what is, you’ve spent more time thinking about playing than actually playing. You don’t even have a real informed opinion to base it on, just collected scraps recycled from the jaded thoughts of others when you don’t even have the basic understanding of the game.

Be thankful we’re even humoring you with replies on this thread, we could just as easily go play the game and leave you alone to your deluded fantasies.

Now first and foremost, I played MUCH more than the tutorial and my oppinion is my own.

if you are a new player you can very well buy the game to have fun for at least 3 months.

(without character transfer)

the game only costs 6 euros. very good price

Server transfer was never about the difficulty of leveling a toon, it was about moving recipes and materials to a server where those recipes or materials were difficult or impossible to obtain. It’s true it was mostly only useful to players that played on official servers, which was a small percentage. However PvP players exploited the transfer system, just like they exploit everything else, and that coupled with the failure rate that you mentioned is what caused it to get shut down. I agree with OP that player transfers need to be brought back for PvE players as Siptah was marketed as an “expansion” and yet we are required to start over.

Once a month ONE free transfer must be allowed!
So it is not 100% unobtainable.

Don’t wanne be offence but I think the best is you just come back in one year. Maybe something has changed and you will like it. Or you need to wait another year if it is worth for you to wait for this feature.
It will not happen in near future and I don’t think you will get any official response to your wish.
And if then it would be a short answer that they have no new informations about this but when something change they will make an announcement about this… Thank you for your patience…

Trust me it that is the only answer I would expect here.
It’s not worth getting upset about it. Maybe the best solution is to play rust and keep an eye on this forum here for new information about transfer.

Yes, but that is an MMO, where Servers are treated a bit differently than in a game like CE
and STILL there is Server Transfer

I mean… you could always stop trolling the forums of a game you supposedly do not play and idk… find something more productive?

FYI, if you have that 6 euro deal available to you then that’s a really good deal… and as for “only the basegame”… the DLCs and whatnot are cosmetic… it’s not like you gain much from them and you would get to experience the game for fairly cheap.
If that’s not a good deal to you then imo you ARE just trolling and have no intention of actually buying the game and was merely hoping to cause controversy - which kinda failed by the looks of it…

It’s up to you what you do and what games you play and why. If server transfers are indeed such a deciding factor to you that the game isn’t even worth 6 EUR to you without them, then you might as well move along as there’s nothing for you here… I still don’t think server transfers would all of a sudden magically make you want to play a game that you don’t like - not even enough to play it for what is a ridiculously low price.

I can tell you something @Seeking I have been on this Forum for years there were people in the beginning of my time here crying for magic and now after all this time we have Sorcery for some it breaks the game for others it works just great eventually you may get what you want server transfer does not make a difference to me one way or another if it is made viable will allow on our server after getting a consensus with current players you see magic was shown in some of the early trailers. Between purchasing all the Dlcs for my wife and I and keeping 2 server’s running it is cheap entertainment those dinners we don’t go out for versus the thousands of hours playing pay for it . After reading all these posts I feel people have been fair to you. Good luck with what ever you decide. Here’s a tip buy the game learn how it works and if and when you can server bounce you will be ready and have had a hell of a lot of fun in between.

The real toxicity is coming here to the forums and trolling when you have no intention of buying or playing the game. Then when you are called on it, the “white Knights” crap starts. To me that is what is childish.

If being a white knight means having several thousand hours of enjoyment for less than the price of a college football game ticket, then by all means I’ll gladly wear that title like a badge of honor. I mean the alternative is to not being enjoying myself for that amount of time. That’s just depression and sadness. Who wants that?
