This even happens on the TestLive server, where the item shop doesn’t even work. It just asks you to log in. I suppose that’s “working as intended” too.
So whenever we reach a milestone in the middle of a fight, we can expect to die as that thing pops up. Great idea Funcom 
You can block the adds by preventing AwesomiumProcess.exe to talk to anarchy.
Right click it select properties then compatibility, choose something like win95, when the popup happens in game after you done that it will just be a transparent window. This will also prevent the GMI from working, but that is not a problem on RK2019 for now.

I think the more constructive way would be to keep giving FC feedback that we don’t want this, rather than violating the EULA and sabotaging the client.
Yes, that is true, it will disable any window that loads html of a server.
I don’t think it breaks the EULA, you don’t modify any files, or the client itself, you just tell windows it need to run in compatibility mode, but i do see your point, was just thinking as a temporary solution.
Okay, so now it’s popping up the Item Store window with no special ad on top. And nobody’s paying attention because you’ve already trained us to automatically close that window every time it appears without bothering to look at it. Have you guys really never gotten any spam? This is what happens when your repeated signal simply becomes noise. It is tuned right out. If you want our ATTENTION on your ads and not just an automatic count of “impressions”, show them LESS frequently and only when there’s actually something there.
