I’d like to see some sort of wooden and a stone platform maybe 3ft elevation.
Would make for a nice dancing stage or throne centerpiece.
7 ft tall foundations are too tall; messes with the feng shui of my throneroom.
I guess a half-height foundation would do the job just as well.

It works still, and that’s amazing to surelevate roofs or to place a shrine/throne/whatever you want on it a bit higher than the rest in a temple
If you use the raising foundation technique with Less Building Placement Restrictions - Overlaps Edition by Multigun, you can place stairs and foundation together (removes the building restriction so you can put the foundation down after the stairs). Works great.

And if you can’t use mods because of official or console, you can carefully place shelves on the sides of the surelevated foundations and your character will use them as stairs

That’s a great idea. I need to that.
Creative trick, but cant place fences ontop of ceiling pieces so ‘indoors’ on the 4th floor it won’t work, and I’m Ps4 so no mods.
Yep, requires some planning ahead, but at least now it’s something to keep in mind for future builds.
Nice! My favorite is when I have stairs leading down to a sunken floor to use carpets/rugs to cover up the gap between the bottom foundation and where the stairs enter the ground mesh.
